10 Best Home Decor Pieces On H&M

So I actually have an obsession with homeware, maybe borderline obsessive, but it's not a bad thing?! I can literally spend my weekends trailing from homeware to homeware store, then heading to IKEA to fuel up on meatballs and hot dogs, then head back to it.

You do not need to splurge, you don't even need a big budget to spend on key pieces, you just need to know where to go and know what you want to make your home look dreamy! Ever stuck for ideas I fuel up on Pinterest for some decor inspiration.

Pumpkin Spice Rolls

I am not really a dessert person, but every now and again I do like a sweet treat, I am currently eating one as I write about it! Nothing feels better than a little indulgence, especially one that has the warming taste of pumpkin, besides just look at these pumpkin spice rolls, they are the ultimate Autumnal treat.

With Autumn firmly here and the leaves turning beautiful shades of brown and red I am always searching for a little snack that is a little bit naughty and comforting, to enjoy no matter the time of day.

This recipe is super easy and takes no time at all to make and whip up, similar to my pumpkin spice biscuits. With the kids half term fast approaching these would be great to make with them or for them and taken out for any of your days out planned, or if no kids, then they will totally score you brownie points with your colleagues at work.

Once your rolls are cooked, the house smells truly divine, like a little bakery nestled in your abode, plus these will have you feeling like a true domestic goddess, well to your kids and friends anyways, that is if you plan on sharing these.

What is great about these pastry rolls, they are perfect for breakfast, or a treat throughout the day and can be eaten cold or warm, so great to pack in a lunch box and gobbled at your desk.

These pastry rolls are rich but not overly sweet and the warm pumpkin spices, make you just want to curl up with a cuppa and leave you feeling super cosy.

Ingredients
2 pack of ready made puff pastry
50g of butter (room temperature)
50g muscavado sugar
2 tbsp of pumpkin spice mix (or cinnamon)
1 egg (beaten)

Directions
1. preheat your oven to 180°c  and grease your 8inch round 2tin lightly.

2. Mix together your softened butter, sugar and spice mix until all comes together.

3. lightly dust your surface with flour then roll out your ready made puff pastry, then spread over your pumpkin spice filling all over the pastry leaving a 1cm gap at the edges.

4. Roll your puff pastry gently into a roll, then cut into sections about 2cm thick and place into your tin until filled, leave a little space between each as they will expand when cooking.

5. Take the beaten egg and give them a light brush and place in the oven for 2-30 mins, or until golden brown on the top, then leave to cool for 15-20 minutes, if not devour immediately, great served hot with a cuppa.

A simple dish to share with loved ones, they know how you roll.

This Month's Netflix Original's To Watch This Weekend

It's Fri-Yyay and for the London Mumma household, that means a night to Netflix and Chill! If you are planning on taking it easy and chilling at home this weekend or even have a sleepover, we have got some great movies and shows to kick back too.

Friday's are great, as that is when the latest shows and movies get added on. We have been loving Netflix originals for a little while now and the recent few that we have been watching have not disappointed.

So I suggest for a cosy night in grab some funfetti popcorn and some Chinese wings to chow down on, cosy blanket and relax.

13 Reasons
The girls in the office have been banging on about this show for ages, how amazing it was and how it highlighted mental health and felt since they have watched the show, that they or people they know have been able to speak more openly about what they are feeling.

Angry Birds
Since going to Chessington, Leanora and myself cannot get enough of these funny little guys. A great fun filled movie about green piggies trying to steal the bird's eggs for the king to eat. A great family movie.

Travels With My Father
This brilliant documentary starring Jack Whitehall and his father is utterly hilarious. The first season starts with Jack's father accompanying Jack around Asia on Jack's gap year, but Jacks father an uptight hilarious foul mouth 70-year-old man, has a few choice words for Jack. This season sees the tables turned where Jack's father takes the reigns and Jack accompanies his father on a tour around Europe, expect freakish dolls, that become apart of the family, a lot of lol, and nudity.

Somewhere Between
Now if you are looking for an amazing nail-biting binge, then Somewhere Between is your show, it literally just came out this week and I watched it in mere hours, I even woke up last night at 11am to watch an episode, only to watch the whole series until 4:20am this morning, downside, I had to be up at 5:30 am. Clearly, that shows you it is that good a must watch this weekend.

Next Gen
This is our family movie tonight, an animation about a little girl, who has recently lost her father, growing up as a young teen with no friends can be tough, that is until she finds herself in a lab where she should not be and awakes a robot, who follows her home. About love and friendship and support and I can not wait to curl up and watch this later.

What are you watching this weekend? Let us know in the comments below.

6 Ways To Enjoy Your Period

Ladies, let us take a minute here to come together and admit, we all hate our periods. That monthly devil creeps upon us, whilst at times it is a treat to of swung by, it can also be frustrating.

Menstrual cycle! I just cringe on hearing the word, as I know, I am about to bloat like a mo fo! My hormones are all over the place, moods swings here I come! As well as our skin taking a little hit, along with the pain that can at times be a little crippling, to add final insult to injury the heavy flow is a burden to much to bare at times.

Exercise
Do not let being on your cycle stop you from getting in a workout. I can honestly say, when I have been on my period, I've felt like a fat slug and there was nothing in the world that I dreaded more than knowing that I had to go and work out. It is unfortunate that I felt like that, but I get my mind right and think what my end goal is and that is to have a flat tum, so regardless of feeling sluggish I know at the end of that work out I feel great and knowing that my cycle has not held me back I feel even better, so I always stick to a plan and back my kit and go.

Step away from the junk food
Give me all the chocolate, and crisps that I can get my hands on to make me feel good and give me a little comfort, sure it is easy just to nip to the shop or order takeaway but remember all those fatty, salty foods will only leave you feeling worse. Get yourself organised, have a planner and even meal prep for the week you know you are going to be due on. Another great way to eat healthily and to keep on track, is if you have a friend that has the same cycle as you or not, having a support buddy to check on you is great, plus if you cave in you can blame them!

Meditate
Whilst it may be a normal morning routine, mediating can be done at any point of the day, no matter where you are, be it on the tube (god knows we need to be doing it, in rush hour)

Facial
As our bodies go through changes and are hormones are bouncing around, it is so important to take care of our skin and maintain its glow. Drinking lots of water to help it keep plump and a good facial be it a fancy smancy treat or an at home pampering session is in order.

Time For Tea
We all wish for a genie to grant our wishes to help reduce the bloat that can come along with our cycle, but whilst there is no genie nor am I claiming to be one, I find that fresh cut ginger in a hot cup of water, reduces my bloat and stomach fatigue and I certainly recommend giving it a go, doesn't work at least you gotta a nice cup in hand.

Bridget Jones it
I have to confess I love a big knicker, there is nothing cosier than a nice pair of big knickers, comfort is key and this is the way to go, with so many great styles and shapes for all out there I totally recommend it and rock it like you just don't care.

What are your PMS remedies or cures? I would love to hear in the comments below.

2 Simple Steps To Help You Stick To A Plan

I always end up deviating on plans, be it New Year's resolutions, Stoptober, to pushing goals to the wayside for other things that I feel is more important at the time. What is important is those plans that we make, those goals that make us happy, nothing wrong with making your dreams a reality.

Life always throws a curve ball, just because it can, but it is how you manoeuvre that curveball back in to play that counts and setting that plan back into motion!

It's official, I am putting my plans back into action and I couldn't be happier about it and you can too. Positivity is key in situations like this, but at times its negativity that can set those wheels back in motion, it did for me, use it to your advantage to kickstart that positive plan back into action.

Weigh up now, against later
It is so easy to put something off until later and later never happens, to arranging that play date, booking yourself into the dentist, meeting with the bank, to answering that email on time. But think about it, and weigh up those options, how does putting something off until tomorrow, the day after or next week make you feel? SHIT! Am I right? It takes you one step backwards to achieving that plan and hell to the no, should we be doing that, it's about getting your big girl/boy pants on and taking that step now. DO IT!

Set that goal
Go back to the drawing board, or Pinterest board to give you that push to keep you on track, it's a great, no, positive reminder as to why you are taking the necessary steps, no matter how out there they may seem, just remember to have fun. You can add to it, mark it off, being able to visualise something helps put things and your mindset into perspective to get yourself organised and keep you on a steady track to then plan.

No drawing board or Pinterest, then get yourself a diary, nothing better than being able to carry something around with you, day in and day out which is super easily accessible to help you push yourself further in order to achieve your plan.

Autumn Reads

With pumpkin spice lattes adorning coffee shops, leaves are turning into golden hues, the air a bit crisper you know that you have arrived in the Autumnal months, with that comes cosy cashmere knits, blankets and of course delightful new reads.

This month I've got two new favourites that I suggest curling up on the sofa to read.

Bad Blood, A really well written eloquent book, that I simply could not put down. Filled with murder, memory loss, twists and turns, Bad Blood will keep you guessing all the way through to the end, a great page-turner about a dying man seeking answers from a psychologist, wanting to remember and know answers about a bloody night where he woke to find a murdered woman in his hotel room, how did he get there, who is this woman......

Circe, a mythological story of a lesser god Circe, who is banished to a remote Island which she may never leave, as ordered by Zeus and her father, the God, Helios. Circe was not born with any powerful powers like her father or beauty like her mother, she was a strange outcast, destined for not much until she finds a mortal to love, to keep and claim as her own. This love makes Circe realise that she has a witching power, does it work in her favour!

Did you read these, how did you get on, what did you think?

3 Of The Best Nuxe Skincare Products For The Autumnal Weather

It's officially Autumn, you can feel the chill in the air the moment you wake up, extra layering is required, from cosy knits to heavier jackets to heavier moisturises and skincare needed.

With the change in weather, your skin needs boosting as it becomes more dryer and dehydrated than usual, we've all been there with our lips craving moisture from chapping, a heavier face cream to give you that extra glow through the bitter cold times.

No one wants to walk around with chapped lips, it is literally the worst thing ever, we all want the perfect pout, in order to get that and combat this weather, you got to get those lips looking just right! Personally I am not a lipstick wearer, still trying to find that right shade, but for those that do and do not want flaky peeling lips with lipstick on, I would certainly recommend investing in Nuxe lip balm to prep and bring moisture into your lips, the botanical oils to lock in the moisture and honey will help rejuvenate, nourish and repair chapped lips. This is a great size to fit into your handbag and certainly would recommend using all year round. The texture is great, it simply just melts into your lips and leaves it silky smooth and feeling uplifted thanks to the subtle hint of grapefruit.

This balm is insane, it literally melts into your skin. This balm also from the Rêve de Miel collection is for the face and body, but I like to keep it as a treat for my face, but another bonus is, is that it is paraben free and I can also use it on Leanora too, perfect for the whole family and children over 3 years of age! Leanora suffers from eczema and this time of year, is when it can flare up quite badly, so thanks to the 6 botanical oils, honey and Shea butter, it locks in the moisture and keeps our skin nourished all day.

My legs, in particular, get extremely dry in the colder months as well as my body being very sensitive, this cream does not irritate it. We all have different skin types and it is so important on finding what works for you and your skin, but I whole hardheartedly cannot recommend this cream enough, it absorbs into the skin immediately, which is great and is non-greasy better for you and your clothes, plus the smell is incredible and so calming.
