One of my favourite stores is H&M every year they absolutely nail it no matter the season, they are so on point with the latest trends. I can not simply just walk in to H&M, be it in to the women's, kids or even homewear department and not walk out with a little something.

With restrictions easing and 2020 darkness in the past, a new future is ahead where we are finally able to roam out in to the world, meet up with friends and loved ones and every new occasion requires a new essential outfit, well that is my oponion at least and the reason to not feel so guilty about spending way too much, even though I shouldn't. However, I always shop for an outfit that can stand the tale of time and something that is versatile and you can wear it multiple ways and in different seasons.
I find that with H&M a few great staples is all you need and they have an abundance of some great quality pieces, to cycling shorts and linen shirts, a little chilly outside or out for dinner, no worries they have you sorted and you can layer it up with an oversized dad blazer, which is a new favourite addition to my wardrobe, it is also teams up really well with some cute flats or pretty floral print dress or a pair of jeans for a more casual weekend look.

What will you be purchasing from H&M?

Summer
is in full affect here in London and I am loving it!
As
someone who wears contact lenses every single day, I find that throughout the
summer I rather reach for my glasses, as my lenses can easily become very dry,
leaving me with very dry eyes.
Sunglasses
are a must for summer, to help protect your eyes from the suns glare, plus a
must have accessory during the summer, heck all year round. Now being a lense
wearer it is not cost affective to have my sunglasses prescriptive, so when
Vision Direct got in touch to help me with my issue and keeping me stylish and
my eyes hydrated I would have been a fool to not see how they can help me.
VisionDirect have a huge range of lenses on offer, it is certainly worth going
through and finding out what best suits you and your needs! For my eye solution
and keeping them healthy and hydrated I went for as per the recommended lenses made from silicone hydrogel, or you can always go for the daily disposable lenses the option is yours and
there are loads to choose from.
I
have to say since using the Acuvue Oasys, with hydraclear plus technology, not
only do they keeps my eyes hydrated, but its helped with me step up my eye wear
game and I’ve now an array of sunglasses, from 70’s swag, to slinky cat
sunglasses and so many more.
The
only place I will now be buying my lenses, plus I also found that Vision Direct
prices are the best out there.
What are you doing to keep your eyes
hydrated?

With the finishing line in sight to the summer holidays, and bodies already projected to the open road and sandy beaches with crystal clear blue seas there are a few things you need to put in check and inspect, especially your car before a road trip prior to you setting out for some fun in the sun.
This week set to be the busiest on the roads and as we pack up the car with luggage, kids, pets and everything minus the kitchen sink you are going to need to make sure you check and replace those tyres regularly, unless you’re planning to have the kids pick up the car and strap it to their backs. Always check the tyres for wear and uneven tread and making sure the alignment is right, plus make sure you have a spare tyre just in case, failure to do so would be negligent and could result in accidents.
A major no brainer really is to have your brake pads tested too, god forbid you find yourself in a situation where you had to use them abruptly to avoid a collision, get these checked regularly, especially before a road trip to protect you and your family and others around you, if not, it could lead to a fatal accident.
The car is going to be packed, kids are on their tablets playing games, watching movies, you've got the radio on, and it’s going to be a long hot drive in this heat. I certainly recommend stopping off and service your car air conditioning from Ossett Tyre House to get you air conditioning checked out to keep you and the family cool, as improper air conditioning could lead to serious car heat ups.
Refreshments, are always a good idea to and have some treats packed and plenty of water too, you can always make ahead my strawberry sparkling soda and bottle up for the ride to keep you and the kids extra cool.
Family, car and road safety is extremely important, failure to have the above checked, replaced and looked into could lead to serious consequences, such as car breakdowns leaving your family stranded before your holiday has even begun, to more serious results.

Sometimes it's hard finding the perfect outfit for Leanora and me! Ha! Yeah Right! But no truly it can be hard to find something that A you feel comfortable in, especially as you spend half your day running around chasing your toddler like a scene from the walking dead (the toddler is the civilian screaming their head off and your the blood thirsty zombie chasing after them) B You both still want to look cool.

Next are totally killing that cool Mummy and Mini twin style right now with so much to choose and mix and match from. Truth be told, I was not a fan of next growing up, well I mean I've always loved their homeware! But it is always somewhere my old girl shopped (mum). But fast forward now that I am in my YOUNG 30's I've grown to love and appreciate Next's collection, plus they are totally having a fashion moment from the instagrammable pom pom mules (super cheesed I didn't bag a pair) to dresses and by heck, they are reasonably priced too!
Leanora kept it cool and easy breezy in this adorable embroidered blouse worn with these super cute red military shorts. The look was cute and complete with a blue pair of Mary Janes which she now refuses to take off LIKE EVER (her words, God help me).
I went for a red striped top, it's ever so light and soft and something I shall certainly be wearing under some dungarees, quite possibly a dress version which I am currently on the hunt for, if you spot one do let me know! I've teamed my striped top with a relaxed boy friend cut jeans (my first BF Jean) the comfiest trainers which like L I never want to take off LIKE EVER!! And no outfit is complete without a bag and being a lady-parent it has to be a cross body so I can free up my zombie arms to catch the toddler, plus I just love the ring handle adds a total statement to it which instantly adds a more fashion forward element to the look.

How do you style your Next looks - I would love to hear in the comments below!
The perfect pick with Next, perfect for our summer adventures. Until The Next Series.......
Thank you to Next for letting us select some outfits for this post. We carefully picked them, ok Leanora choose them! I mean I'm a parent who has no rights, after all, I'm just here living in her world paying the bills ha!
With summer slowing down here in the UK and being the UK, the weather is unpredictable and can be known to spoils us with a nice sunny day here and there, but as sun seekers we are always off on holiday (even wander lusting in our mind, whilst sat at the office desk) and plus we are women and we always need a new dress!

Something fun and flirty is always a hit and I'm currently loving tea dresses, be it dressed up with sandals and nice hat to dressing down in trainers and a denim jacket. The weather should never let it stop you from wearing that cute tea dress, I mean as we are not too far off from Autumn, you can always wear it with a jumper? But no matter how you like to rock it we are always trying to hold onto summer like our lives depend upon it, throw caution to the wind, buy a tea dress, in any colour or design, that tickles your fancy and rock the hell out of it, after all the tea dress is perfect to wear for any occasion!
To be fair I actually forgot about this tea dress, that I picked up for a bargain from Missguided and should have blogged it weeks a go, maybe even a month or two (oops) it is now sold out, but you are in the right place as I've some alternatives for you in different lengths and designs!

I've scoured the web to find you 10 of the best all costing under £50 leaving you a bit extra with some to purchase two, after all, you so deserve it.
Let me know what you think of the top 10 and would love to hear how you like to style your tea dress! Please leave your comments below.

Here is to an awesome week ladies and gents too, after all the fellas can always treat their lady! Also if you are currently on the hunt for your little girl's dresses, then I would certainly check out ODS Designer Clothing.
With all that relaxing on the beach soaking up the glorious sun rays (don't forget the sunscreen) it can be a hungry job lounging around.
But on a summers day, we are going to need a tasty dish which packs a punch at the same time as tickling our taste buds, all whilst dreaming and wishing we were right back by the sea and what better dish to eat on a summers day than a chilli crab linguine and I promise you, after just one bite, you will be wanting to it this dish all summer long.
This is the perfect meal be it for lunch or dinner to enjoy with family and friends with a nice ice cold bottle of plonk (you know me Prosecco or Sancerre) and an elderflower cordial for the kiddies (Leanora loves the stuff, thinking of making my own, is it hard, or do you have any good family recipes?).
Now I must say, I did make this with both white and dark crab meat as I wanted to really taste the salty sea (makes sense in my mind) but you can opt just for the white glorious fatty flesh of crab if you wish.
Ingredients (serves 4)
400g Linguine
A handful of cherry tomatoes, chopped
300g Fresh white crab meat
4 Stems of parsley finely chopped
1 Green and red chilli chopped
Half a lemon
50ml of olive oil
1 Garlic clove finely chopped
Directions
1. Cook linguine in boiling water (you can add salt, but I don't) for 8-9 minutes.
2. Whilst linguine is cooking away nicely, in a pan, through in your olive oil, crab, chilli (as much as you like), tomatoes, and garlic and lemon juice and cook over a medium heat until all warmed through.
3. drain pasta, but save a little of the water for your sauce and pop back into your pan, pour in your warmed through ingredients and gently toss together.
4. serve amongst 4 dishes and sprinkle over your chopped parsley and serve.
Do you have a tasty summery dish that you and your friends and family like to enjoy?

We recently hit the beach for a little weekend getaway and a little salty air, sun chasing, crab spotting, wave riding and sun lounging. With the weather being an utter babe, Leanora in her element collecting sea shells her throwing caution to the wind and trying to bury her sun hat, it got me thinking about that good old Vitamin D, whilst it is great for sensitive eczema prone skin, her delicate skin, mine too needs some protection, that's where Bioderma comes in hand!

Not wanting to burn and become peely and protecting our skin from the sun and helping me reduce the risk of skin ageing, Bioderma's sunscreen's are perfect to protect the families skin. I always go for the maximum SPF 50 for both of us, I want us to get as much protection whilst out and about on a hot sunny day.
I find choosing a spray bottle for us both is perfect, this way you can keep track of where you sprayed, so no spots are missing, plus it's fun for the kids to get involved! (Leanora since being back has taken to try and spray Milo, God help me!)
Bioderma Spray for children is Hypoallergenic so perfect for Leanora's sensitive delicate skin, it glides over smoothly, it does not leave her skin looking or feeling chalky and whats better is that it fragrant free so I know it won't give her a bad reaction, as well as being paraben free and can also be applied to dry or wet skin and is great to reapply after a ton of frolicking in the sea, and this can be applied to her face and skin.
For me, I go for the Dry Oil. It helps generate a natural tan, it is fragranced but is so light and in no way over powering, plus it helps absorb moisture back into sun parched skin. Just like the kiddies spray it is paragon free and alcohol-free also, as well as being non-sticky, it too can be applied to wet or dry skin.
Both are perfect to store in your beach bag, knowing that you and your family are protected on your summer holidays with one brand are brilliant and a little goes along way.

A massive thank you to Bioderma for sending us these fab sun protectors to shield us from those sunny rays on our sunny holidays, now just need to plan the next sunny adventure.
Which sunscreen are you using, have you found a brand that works for you and your family?
Summer, summer time, summer time!
How glorious have these past few weeks been? With that said, gone are the long sleeve tops, jackets and dare I say it, skinny jeans. All I want to wear is dresses, short ones, long ones, midi ones, off the shoulders ones, just give them all to me and i'll be a happy bunny, but maybe just maybe I may just be able to achieve that, now the the summer sale's are on.
