Working away like a mad woman for an event I am organising, I hear a ping go off, new email has just come in along with the millions that I am trying to plow through as quickly as possible, but for some reason, this ping sounded different, good different! I popped open a new tab and dived in, RIVA Fashion Loves You, in the subject box. Just what I wanted to hear and read, I mean we all need a little love now and then right!
RIVA was created in 1997, by the Armada group, for women with a love of fashion an open heart and women who want to look chic, feminine and glamorous from day to night all whilst feeling utterly comfortable and fierce.
I normally tend to stick to what I know, but as I said earlier in the year I really want to step out of my comfort zone and what better way to dip my toe into the unknown, than with this bold floral shirt dress. The perfect dress to take me into the Autumn months, but still feeling the summer breeze, leaves me feeling girly and chic, with is delicately embellished shirt collar and feminine nipped in waist line and flared hem, it certainly is a head turner for all the right reasons.
As my style and I evolve I embrace it ever so more now in my wardrobe, by taking risks and venturing into the unknown of colour and prints, and RIVA is the perfect brand to help me and you too even discover something beautifully new and fascinating.
Fun and flirty is not the only way I would describe RIVA, but bold and sophisticated too, it is the perfect fit and balance in every girl's wardrobe, who wants to look different from the crowd. Riva gives you that extra confidence in every step you take.
My shoe choice for this dress, was a metallic mule number, the perfect comfort shoe and great for chasing after Leanora and hitting the road in style.
When I am not just wearing this shirt dress, as just a dress I know I will be teaming it up with some jeans.

Can you believe that A, it is nearly the weekend and B, it is September already! I mean yay to the weekend and Nay to the fact that the year has totally flown by, I mean, was it not just Easter the other day!
As we are moving off slightly from a midsummer nights dream, in a way which I am not quite ready to let go of, but life goes on, plus I will be braving the new Autumn air with my legs out, but don't worry how cold it has been the past few days (early morning and night) I am sure it won't be for very much longer.
Red-burgundy
No, I don't mean Ron Burgundy from Anchor Man I do mean the colours, Red & Burgundy. Red is this seasons must have colour, but I like to ease into that pop of red and start with a nice burgundy, the perfect offset of between the two and delightful warm shades of red and brown, personally I think it is a shade that goes with all skin types.
Shearling jacket
I mean what is not to love, it is always a big hit and I only got involved once last year, but I got my eye on a few shearling/teddy goodies to ease myself into the colder season.
Anything Weekday
The amazing brand is totally having a moment, especially with the new store opening on Regent Street, which FYI I am heading to, kid free over the weekend to stock up on so much needed essentials! Well, that's a laugh I want it all, plus I spied online that they are currently having 20% off ALL JEANS! Yup you heard me all jeans guys!
Sweaters
You know I am totally having a sweater moment, it's a massive game changer right now, be it paired with a skirt, backless with some comfy jeans or just something to lounge around in the house in, whatever! Make it a must this pay day and peruse this vast list I created for you guys to check out and snap a few of your favourites too.
Biggin it up
Quite literally go big or go home, and seeing as I'm on the tube with two bags, I'm just gonna go home, jump on the laptop and search for a big bag! This seasons trend is a must have big bag and I'm totally all over this trend, not just because I've spotted a few good ones but, it enables me to carry everything and anything, i.e. I could probably throw Leanora in their, so miss 1 mile per hour walking tortoise can get somewhere!
Book
Before I had L, I was a major reader and I am currently on a hunt for a few good books, be it self-help, fiction or not I plan on delving and getting lost in a few this month, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Mirror
Ok, so I have been living in my home for like 2 years and I am yet to find a mirror to go in the living room! I am a woman on a mission this month and I need some help in finding a large mirror, be it silver, grey or white I need something big! Every time I find something that I love it sells out, so guys yet again help me out, know of any good stores or markets, wherever just help a Mumma out with some suggestions!
Movie
Yes this has totally made the cut and I am a major fan of the original and I know that sometimes remakes can be atrocious, but I am dying to see IT yes IT I remember watching it as a kid and it scared the crap outta me literally my skin ran off and left me looking like a ghost! Damn, I love a scary movie, truly nothing makes me happier than a movie scaring me shitless and IT gets me excited, plus hottie Alexander Skarsgård younger brother is in it, playing the main role, sooooo a total must see, even just to perv over him!

With the kids returning back to school or for those eagerly starting, we are going to need to wind back into our routines and what better way than with a tasty treat for the mornings for breakfast on the run, but with little sticky fingers and faces and you in work gear, don't forget to bring those trusty wet wipes along!
I've teamed up with Contact Numbers UK to share with you some handy tips on how to maximise the savings out of your club cards and helping you to utilise their service with family favourite supermarkets such as Sainsbury's, Tesco's and Morrisons.
Contact Numbers UK have a vast directory of customer service numbers for Sainsbury's, Tesco's, Morr isons and a massive range of UK businesses all under one roof, helping you get in touch with your family favourite supermarkets. We all know how hard it can be to get the right number for the right department! Contact Numbers UK do all the hard work for you, whilst bringing all that info required at the touch of your finger tips in just one place, helping you source the best deals on offer and contact numbers for the relevant companies. Thanks to Contact Numbers UK they can certainly help you with that 24/7 - 7 days a week.
With school uniforms, lunches, stationary to buy you want to make sure you watch the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves, so my dear old Ma says. For me what I like to do is use my club card rewards points to go towards Leanora's nursery clothes, so each new term all the points that I have collected and saved in Sainsbury's will go to some much-needed essentials, which consists of mostly socks and underwear. With a few additional points left over, I decided to buy a few tasty treats and make these tasty Yoghurt lollipops. A great way on scoring more points and some that they do not tell you about in store, is by checking Sainsbury's Nectar card app, a few weeks ago I managed scoring extra points, just by logging back into the app.
So quick and super easy to make only a few essentials needed and perfect for the whole family before and after school.
Ingredients
Yoghurt - Any flavour of your choice
Blueberries
Granola
Method
1. Pour in half of your yoghurt into your lollipop moulds, drop a few blueberries a sprinkle of granola and repeat until filled to the top then freeze.
That is it, how quick and simple is that, little fuss, little mess, just what Mumma needed and the kitchen too. By making your own yoghurt lollipops, you will be saving your self a whole lotta dosh, plus you know what is actually going into it.
A massive thank you to Contact Numbers UK for collaborating with me on this tasty post.

I know that' it's still super warm, but there are so many must have sweaters available and please, I beg, do not kill me, some may think it is sacrilege with what I am about to confess! But I am yearning for colder months, not so much the wet weather that comes with Autumn, but just to feel cosy and comfortable in my sweater, so that I can sit by the fire in the pub or curl up on the sofa with Leanora, Milo and some sweet treats, all whilst watching The Great British Bake Off (how excited are you that it is back, do you have a favourite yet?!).
There is something about the Autumnal season that just makes me so happy and seeing all those pretty rust coloured leaves falling on the ground excites me, plus I get to wear a great pair of boots and eat a bucket load of Butternut Soup.
With Autumn fast approaching and new season items flooding the stores, we are all absolutely spoilt for choice. I am totally preparing myself from now to get those must have Autumn sweaters into my wardrobe before they all get snapped up.
I have created a big list and sectioned them just to make it easier for you lovelies to view and browse with ease below.
