Alfresco Lunching, Pop Brixton, London

What better way than to spend an afternoon than hanging out in Brixton with my two besties Leanora and Zuleka.

I have heard about Pop Brixton for a while now and I have been dying to get down there!

Pop Brixton is made up of loads of crates, each crate is hired out to local start-up business from the Brixton and Lambeth area.

There is so much on offer from food, music, fashion they even have a small farm and loads of great events held throughout the week.

If you are looking to try a new place to eat meet up for pre-drinks with friends or even a day out with the kids this summer holidays then I totally recommend heading down.

Bellies empty we ventured to Koi Ramen, Leanora & I started off with the tasty chicken and vegetable dumplings, really great a price you can get a mix of 6 (they have pork too) for £5.00.

Zuleka went next door to Viet box where she got the Spicy Beef Salad with BBQ Rice for £8.00.

Feeling content, we event for a little wonder, where Leanora made a new friend in a form of a butterfly which she was totally mesmerised by and wanted to give it cuddles.

What I like about the concept of Pop Brixton is the community feel, the support for families, residents and businesses.

You are encouraged to come and see what's on offer, in the kitsch stores, to finding out more about growing vegetables and plants, participate in yoga classes to even learning about music but not in a pushy way and everyone is very pleasant, well until we returned to fill our bellies at Viet Box, where the lady just disappeared for 10mins, normally I wouldn't wait but her Bao buns were so good, I let her off. But if you are looking for a quick service I defy recommend trying out Bao London which I blogged about a few weeks ago.

Have you been to any new outdoor dining spots, that are worth checking out?
