Caribbean Carrot Juice

Spring is here the sun is shining, all you need is a cracking drink to sip whilst taking it all in!

We may not be in the Carribean by let's not Carrot about that, I've got you sorted.

My grandad makes this drink every weekend without fail and I love it, what's perfect it is all natural and has great health benefits too and is incredibly yummy and surprisingly sweet from the carrots, so no sugar or sweetness to add.

This is a super quick and delicious drink and only 3 ingredients required, but if you are anything like my grandad he adds a fourth and very heavy handed fourth of white rum! FOR ADULTS ONLY!!!!

To make this drink you will need a blender a sieve and a spoon.

Ingredients
6 Carrots
1 Litre Soy/Almond or Coconut Milk which ever you prefer
1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
1. I start by peeling the carrots and remove the tops, once peeled give them a good rinse, then grater then place in your blender.

2. Add your Soya/Almond or coconut milk which ever you prefer, plus your cinnamon, then blend.

3. Once blended for 2-3 mins, pour the pulp/liquid through a sieve in to another bowl making sure you get all the juice out, once done decant in to your jug and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill before serving. If you can not wait like me, pour your yummy juice in to a glass with a few ice cubes.

This drink is perfect for anytime of the day, with the added bonus that kids can have it too, so perfect for the whole family.

If you are not vegan and want to go down the more traditional route like my grandad, make it with condensed milk and add a can or two of nutriment, my grandad normally uses the vanilla flavour.

Let me know what you think.
