Museum Monday

Welcome all and thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my first blog post.
Monday's are usually admin days, but I thought yeah it may be grey outside but let me not waste it by being the boring dutiful admin girl and seize the day! I got me and Leanora ready (aka ChaChi or Peanut) and set off out to have an adventure, where better to go than to the Natural History Museum.

I mean look at it, who would not skip a day of admin to explore this beaut! Just looking at it makes me feel as if I am about to have an adventure in Hogwarts not run after a 1 year old most of the afternoon (hence the different sized pictures, forgive me the next blog the pics will be uniformed)

Once inside and buggy checked in BIG MISTAKE! We turned around ready and thirsty for adventure and knowledge, the babe shouts loud 'WOAH' yep, you guessed it, she spotted the Diplodocus (try saying that after a few glasses of bubbly) I tried and failed to give Leanora a brief history lesson on the big D, but she was having none of it, after toing & froing she was dead set that it was Cheetah the family cat, anything that walks on four legs MUST be Cheetah. I gave up, just as I did my little explorer darted off to Tyson's  Pygmy.

The best part of the museum for me was the Draw It wall located in the Image of Nature room, located in the Blue Zone. It reminded me of when I was studying and I used to come here and draw, unfortunately I could not show off my creative flare today but I shall be back.

We bid our farewell to Darwin and thanked him for having us, it was time for us to depart and seek out some refreshments and cake, mostly cake for me and we set about our next adventure..........Harrods
