Busy lives? hectic schedule? Check and check! With being on the constant go and at times lacking the quality beauty sleep we need, it can take a toll on our skin, leaving it a little dull and in need of some golden glow and a bit of TLC.

A busy morning of preschool run, emails, opticians and meetings the list grows, I was in dire need of some r&r and was very much looking forward to the best appointment of the day at the Sarah Chapman Beauty Clinic in Chelsea, for my Dermalux LED Light Therapy Treatment, which you may remember from my Instagram.
As I sat down, in my comfy chair, faced cleansed, red LED Spaceship of wonders whizzed to life, I kicked back and relaxed, even snoozed a little whilst this non-invasive treatment took shape. I reluctantly opened my eyes 30 minutes later but was dying to see the outcome, I could feel it, my skin felt tighter, my eyes felt wider, dare I say it, it felt SHAMAZING! And by freaking heck it looked it, my sensitive, blotchy red skin, looked alive, gone are the red blotches, my skin was glowing and hydrated and lapped up Sarah Chapmans Skinesis skincare line. I looked like a woman who was well rested with not a care in the world, it was great.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I headed down to Marshall Street Spa at Everyone Active, just off Carnaby Street, to try out a new treatment department with Caudalie, with some fabulous blogger babes, for an evening of pampering. Yes, I said evening, but the facial I went in for takes up 25 minutes of your lunch break, enough time to still pick up some lunch.
Robe on, I headed into the dimmed treatment room, a quick application fill in and a lovely chat with my beauty expert to find out all about me and my skin and what I like and don't like and a few cheeky giggles too, then the facial commenced! With Caudalie's natural products worked into my tired face and learning all about the new Vinoperfecct range, which I am dying to get my hands on, especially as I could not stop having all about the Vino[Activ] range.
I have not been sleeping very well for the past few weeks, due to stress, which has left my face dull and lacklustre, bringing out those dark circles in full force and was doubtful that this 25-minute facial would help restore my face. Whilst these Caudalie potions and lotions are left to absorb into my face, I was given a much-needed hand and arm massage to my delight. It was result time! My complexion was healthier and glowing, dark circles diminished, face smoother and tighter and pores reduced on my sensitive skin! I actually looked like a normal human being again.

You know I am a major fan of oils, especially face oils! So imagine my delight to find Kahina Giving Beauty Body Serum Essaquira, (super deluxe size £32.00 - Full Size £85.00) in this month's box. So after my refreshing shower with Miller Harris, I pumped out a few drops and warmed in my hands, a quick smell and I only feel on the bloody floor to my knees. MINTD have answered my prayers those bloody angelic angels at the office certainly know how to keep us happy! My favourite or favourite scents of all time geranium takes over this rich nourishing and hydrating body oil! Now can you see why I suggest only using it twice a week! It packs an intoxicating punch and I would happily dowse myself in the whole bottle, but I've a review for you to do and I am also helping you prep for your holiday! I wouldn't be doing my job if I wasn't doing it properly, after all, it's not all about me, maybe that's how I mastered the art of patience! For skin that has been weather exposed so perfect for hose who have been skiing or need some hydration due to winter weather. It contains bio-active ingredients and is rich in antioxidants, which quickly absorbs leaving your skin feeling nourished, supple and plump all whilst repairing weather-damaged skin or if just in need of some tic. The scent packs a calming punch, thanks to all the organic essential oils infused, it certainly leaves me with moisturised skin and leaves me feeling relaxed.

This little tub I carry everywhere and I use daily. I dab a small amount onto my lips and gently massage in, as soon as it hits you, you get a blossoming hit of the orange peel, the smell is truly divine, it is such a shame that you have to rinse it off, but you can't have the scrub derived from sugar and sweet almond seeds on your lips all day, but it is fine, because your lips and honestly left smoother, clearer of all dead skin that sits on you lips, but most importantly of all, your lips are left feeling as smooth as a babies bottom and highly moisturised thanks to it bursting with jojoba oil and shea butter, if on the move I always carry wipes with me so wherever I am always pout ready. It costs £16.00 and can be purchased from Net-A-Porter and considering I have been using it daily for 21 days, I still have a good, say 10 days - 14 days of usage.
Now I have been dying to get my hands on some Sunday Riley products, so was chuffed I didn't bite off Mr Postmans hand and did not get done for abuse or cannibalism, as tucked away in my MINTD Box their lye Sunday Riley's, Martian Mattifying Melting Water Gel Toner. Skyn Iceland's, Brightening Eye Serum, I am just going to jump in and say it,! I LOVE IT, it truly makes me happy. February, the month of love, but what better way to start the month by appreciating and taking time and loving you first.
This month MINTD Box have blown me away, not just because of all 5 full sized luxurious products one offer, but it truly got me thinking! I've neglected me and truly realised I've stopped loving me, so this month I'm giving back to me and loving me first and what better way than with this glorious box to pamper, unwind and relax with.
Leanora shipped off to my mothers for the night, The Girl on The Train rented via sky movies, prosecco popped, Chinese ordered I set about taking easy for the night with a little help with my Self Love box from MINTD
Upon opening, the first thing that catches my eye is the Ameliorate Smoothing Body Lotion, this is a new brand for me and this is what I love about MINTD they bring products, luxury ones from far and wide to try and use. Opening inspection finding out more about the Smoothing Body Lotion I couldn't wait to try. I'm all about what goes into a product as I'm vary weary about what I put on my skin, but I'm happy to say Ameliorate Smoothing Body Lotion is Paraben Free, pH Balanced and dermatologist approved. Bath set using the Roque O'Neil Therapie Equilibrium Bath & Shower Essence which I'll come to shortly but first back to the body lotion, it glides on like you would imagine angels singing, it just seeps in to the skin, glides right over you and absorbs quickly in to your skin, in no way is it sticky or even feels that way, but you are left feeling calm and relaxed and it smells truly divine like a light scented powder far from powerful. A little goes a long way in the 100ml tub and can be used twice daily and is at a price of £17.50
Roque O'Neil Therapie Equilibrium Bath & Shower Essence I am a major fan of bath oils, so it was a delight to see this beauty inside a few heavenly drops Persian rose, New Zealand lavender, sandlwood and jasmine with wild sweet orange and Fragonia essence my bathroom soon smelt like a midsummer's night dream which left me feeling totally invigorated and relaxed. A good heavy duty bottle, which can withstand the cat climbing up on the ledge of the bath this 100ml Equilibrium Bath & Shower Essence is priced at £40.00
Body dried and smelling heavenly from my Ameliorate Smoothing Body Lotion PJ's and slippers on, Chinese delivered and I'm now wrapped up in the sofa and it's time to unwind completely. Out comes Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Roller Ball. Now this brand I've heard of and love and cherish dearly, I've got a set of miniature bath oils and a large one until Leanora got hold of it and I just love the stuff. Totally blown away to find the Rollerball inside. It's not a product I've used before but the scent is a familiar one, essentials oils, just ooze calm, peace and love and this rollerball just does that and is perfect to use after a long hard day and just before bed, this too is free from Parabens, artificial fragrance and colour. Great size to keep on your to help relax your thought out the day and reasonably priced at £16.00.
With the days and nights beings cold I find that my lips are suffering and I matter how much water I drink to stay hydrated I do find that my lips have been suffering. Skyn Iceland Plumping Lip Gels where neatly placed in the box, I was a bit taken a back I have to admit, I mean I've got quite big lips so do I really need to look a like a duck or want a trout pout. But I'm trying something new this year with beauty and always up for a little laugh even if it is at my own expense. 5 pairs all neatly packaged individually in one large resealable packaging i tore one open and applied as instructed to my clean, makeup free, dry lips don't worry it is a little large to cover all mouth shapes and sizes, gently pressed down and smoothed out any bubbles as requested, topped up my glass and relaxed for 10 minutes watching the movie and removed the lip patch, I was a. Bit worried that it would feel like a burning or tingling sensation, but far from it, it actually feels like a cooling somewhat soothing sensation on your lips, and I have to say I was delighted with the results, my lips refreshed younger dare I say, it had totally restored life back into my lips, hydrated even, lasted throughout the night well until the late morning so certainly does the trick and what it says on the packet priced at £36.00.
Seeing as I've a bit of time to get ready in the morning I can actually get my face on, no early morning dash for me, I can take my time and get my face on instead of walking out the house looking like Predators sister. The last gem in this months Self Love box is Smith & Cult, Lash Dance Mascara in Black. Now as out know I don't wear makeup a lot, but when I do I want to highlight my eyes in particular I've very small eyes, even when I'm smiling I look like a one eyed pirate, so being able to find a gem that helps open my eyes, and gives me fuller thicker lashes then I'm game and this Smith & Cult Lash Dance Masacra proved at £24.00 does just that.
