Miller Harris has opened my eyes to a new kind of a beauty. A beauty all stored in a darling bottle and a scent bursting with summer adventure all whilst getting, Lost In The City.
Last week a little package arrived at my door, it was a long hard day at work, looking after 14 venues 7 members of staff, a daughter, a cat and a sister who is now living with you is tough, but my worries were washed away by the arrival of a little package at my doorstep, a package from Miller Harris.

Scents are personal, we love what we love, we hate what we hate. It can always be hard picking a parfum for others, it is so personal, what I may love, you may hate and vice versa but Miller Harris, you cheeky devils you know what I love..... After all, I've been banging on about a particular scent that I crave, no, that I love, Geranium!
When seasons change so does my style and the same can be said for my parfum, the spring and summer months the scents I crave are something nice light and floral as opposed to Autumn and winter where I like something a little heavier and richer.

Rhubarb, Rose petals, Geranium embodies this parfum and all three scents I love, but infused together makes me feel like I am lost in the woods, chasing butterflies with Leanora on a bright sunny day. This parfum is far from heavy but nice and light and the fragrance lasts all day and survives my commute to work.
Lost In The City, is one of a trio from a new collection produced by the London Perfumer, Miller Harris, Lost In The City is in a collection inspired by urban foraging, the bottle is simple, but the packaging it came is so pretty, it even comes with a little-multicoloured stand you can store it in on your dressing table.
I styled a classic linen dress around this fragrance, as that what they both are classic pieces, no must-have pieces for the Spring and Summer months. Hair kept relaxed as well as makeup minimal, a simple gold watch and my circle straw bag of the moment with some white sandals that picked up from Primark, can you believe for £6.

Spring is the perfect time to rethink your beauty products, it's a great time to try and test out new products.
Spring brings out lighter colours, so shed those heavy auburn and red tones and opt for lighter shades of pink, floral scents to bask in to lift your mood and lay to rest those sandalwood fragrances and reach for those lighter creams.
If any brand can convince me to invest in their beauty products, then the gods at & Other Stories have spoken to me. There beauty and skincare products are nice light and won't break your the bank. I purchased two products whilst only going in for a new top, but low on hand cream and the beauty counter right by the till, (great add-on selling) it would have been rude to of not perused. A sucker for good packaging and a hint of pink, a little dollop, and massage into hands of the Miami Muse hand lotion is totally uplifting and invigorating, it's a delicate light scent of pink pepper, cotton candy, and musk and romantic refreshing light cream for Spring and I just knew this was the cream I needed this Spring. I also purchased the body mist in Miami Muse great size perfect to pop into my handbag and both items costing me less than £10 I certainly left with a spring in my step, and soft supple hands and smelling like a spring dream.
I have always been a fan of Glossier, the packaging and branding also, but never tried any of their products, so when I found out last year they were launching FINALLY in the U.K. And a pop up store to celebrate, which unfortunately and annoyingly I had to miss due to work commitments, I finally got round to ordering a few little products. The first product I tried was the cloud paint, in the shade Haze it was love at first apply, granted with my heavy hands I squeezed out a tad too much I know that this super lightweight liquid blusher is going to last. Regrettably, Glossier are not sold in stores, but I was able to find the shade I was after this Spring with the models on site of different colouring and how it looks applied makes it easy for you to choose.
Rodial Skincare Dragon’s Blood Velvet Cream I first used last year winter which I was sent with my MINTD Box, but now I have recently repurchased and use as my day cream. Rich enough for me to use on its own without an oil underneath and light enough for all-day use, especially as my days of late have been starting at 5am and does not leave the skin feeling cloggy and heavy, but glides on like water and leaves the skin hydrated. Perfect for anyone who has dry to combination skin.
The smell of Decelor's Aurabsolu Intense For Eyes is simply divine, not only just smells heavenly it works wonders too. This under eye brightening cream works wonders, especially for those who suffer from dark circles or had a sleepless night. the perfect under eye brightener to lift your face in time for Spring.
Now whilst this may not be a beauty or skincare product, I adore H&M's affordable candle scents. This scent, Wild Flower is a little nostalgic for me as it reminds and takes me back to the Lavender fields with Leanora, chasing her through the fields.
