Right now green is my new black.
As you may have noticed I am venturing out of my comfort zone of all black. Maybe it is to do with all the Spring blooms popping up all over London.
What ever it is I am totally loving it.
I think I may have been wrong in never really injecting enough colour into my wardrobe, or maybe I am becoming a bit softer since becoming a mother.
As you can see Leanora pinched my sunglasses through the shoot, did not want her to feel left out.
Now down to the good stuff.
I met up with a very good friend of mine who also happens to be Leanora's God Mother for a coffee and catch up, obvs cake was involved I am not a fool. We decided to hit the shops and she said hey lets go into River Island! To this I turnt my nose up, as overtime I've spotted clothing or accessories in magazines, it is either A) Sold out or B) They decided not to make it, manufacturing issues is what i've heard. So I reluctantly sauntered in behind her, and oh my god the angels are singing, could it be a pair of gorgeous, just what I wanted all my life green trousers in my size! I was truly blessed, the cut and fit are perfect, the trousers come up just before your ankles, plus the prices was schweet £25.00 you can find the trousers here.
I teamed the trousers with a white shirt that I purchased a few years back from ASOS but I have found a similar here plus a brown belt, which I had pinched off my sister, which one I am not saying as she is bound to read this post.
As it is still quite cold in London town and it is not showing any sign of easing up and going in to Spring weather officially, but on the upside it has been sunnier so can not complain and the clocks go forward next week, which means longer brighter days whop whop! I did rock this look with my parka, but you can easily change it up and rock a biker jacket.
I purchased my parka from SheInside, I believe it has now sold out, but you can find similar here SheInside I have to say is amazeballs and sells more than affordable clothing and is every girl/woman I know guilty pleasure.
Either way this outfit works in so many ways, it can be taken from day to evening quite simply. During the day you can team the outfit up with a pair of converse and if you are out after work meeting the girls, then swap the converse for a pair of strappy heels.
What I love about this outfit is the easiness and the laid back feel to it, but a part of me does feel like it has brought out the wild side of me, I feel as though I should be in South Africa on a Safari trip, or anywhere in the sun, I am not to fussed where in the Carribean!
Have you bought any great pieces and ready for Spring?
London Mumma. x
