When it comes to beauty, I know what I like and I am liking trilogy! Ok, that's a lie I am loving Trilogy.
Always up for trying new products, do not get me wrong I have my staples but I always find it exciting learning and using a brand/products that is new to me and my skin!
In fairness beauty products are more important to me than makeup, I'm busy, were busy and I am too darn lazy to perfect makeup, I mean that cat eye, I am still trying to master in a few minutes, but cut a gal some slack, after all I'm a busy single Mumma (totally using that as an excuse).
But I digress, I and who else doesn't strive for a great dewy skin, that's now just glowing but firm and wrinkle-free, without the help of Botox!
The change of season has quenched and dried out my skin, leaving it requiring some much need hydration, I found that by continuing to use my current products were not benefiting my skin, god knows why it took me a few weeks to realise, that as the season changes my skincare routine needs changing too. So I was excited to try Trilogy's naturally formulated Ultra Hydrating Body Cream. It glides on like a dream and smells heavenly, it is the most intensive body moisturiser from Trilogy thanks to it being packed with deeply hydrating plant oils to help enhance your skins natural radiance. The ingredients within it is not overpowering, evening primrose, jojoba and reship oils are all subtle enough to make you feel all kinds of relaxed and helps moisturise and nourish your skin, along with sunflower oil and manuka honey to soften and help protect your skin from harsher weathers, great to use day and night and is surprisingly quick absorbing so no-grease marks when you put your clothes on!
If I am honest, of an evening, I just want to grab my micellar water to cleanse my face, remove my make up and dive into bed next to Leanora and read a good book before I doze off! But I thought I should be a bit more proactive and really take care of my skin, after all, it too needs protection throughout the night, so thought I’d give the make-up be gone cleansing balm a go. It comes in a solid brown tub, which is great, so if I knock it over it won’t spill everywhere (one less thing to lean up). The texture looks really hard, but it is cloudy soft to the touch and melts all over your face and leaves your skin feeling a like a dream once massaged in. I was a bit skeptical about using something new on my face as I have sensitive skin and suffer from a few red patches, but after use and even in the morning, I noticed that the redness was reduced and my face looks so much calmer and nourished and it removes all traces of makeup. The cleansing balm is something that I would certainly recommend to anyone with normal to sensitive skin to use, particularly throughout the Autumn and Winter months.
I was so excited to try when I saw this in my bundle you all know how much of a fan I am of serums, so when I spied the Rosapene Radiance Serum I could not wait to try it out. Hold the phone, it came out as a cream, no serums are traditionally oily, so imagine my shock to see a cream, I even had to unscrew the lid just to make sure and then check the website and you know what it is meant to be! Is that such a bad thing….? Well frankly no, this serum is great for those who do not like to use oils but want something so much lighter. I like to use this after I applied my oil, to the airs that get extra dry such as my forehead and apples of my cheek to give it that extra hydration and radiant boost, thanks to the repairing and strengthen and hydration from the rosehip oil. I would certainly recommend this to those who just need an extra boost and to apply day or night.
The winner, not that they all are not but let me start off by saying is if you have not tried the Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + STOP the sheer madness and after you have read the review go and purchase total game changer!! Firmly in my 30’s I feel that my skin needs a little extra TLC and I have to say after using this oil for a little over a month now, I can honestly say that it reduces those little pesky lines that I’ve noticed creeping up and gives my skin that pop of a glow leaving me ready to conquer the day whilst leaving my skin protected against environmental free radical damage.
If there is one thing you do this month, then make sure to spoil your face with Trilogy.
Have you tried any of Trilogy's products? How will you be brightening, hydrating your skin this season?

For skin that has been weather exposed so perfect for hose who have been skiing or need some hydration due to winter weather. It contains bio-active ingredients and is rich in antioxidants, which quickly absorbs leaving your skin feeling nourished, supple and plump all whilst repairing weather-damaged skin or if just in need of some tic. The scent packs a calming punch, thanks to all the organic essential oils infused, it certainly leaves me with moisturised skin and leaves me feeling relaxed.
A unisex face oil which is brilliant for pre-makeup application, thanks to it absorb quickly and deeply and it is perfect for post shaving. This dreamy face oil is suitable for all skin types and helps strengthen, soothe and protects your skin from the daily grime, so perfect to use both day and night. It leaves me skin looking dewy and non-greasy overtime. This stuff is super addictive and never disappoints.
This for me is my favourite out of the three, this is how I like to start and end my day. I never feel the need after I have used this or the others to moisturise my skin. It helps balance my and reduce redness and calms any fatigue or stresses of the day and perfect for those with sensitive skin. A little certainly goes a long way with this, plus the others, but I literally feel that I want to douse myself in it, due to is beautiful botanical scents, which will leave you feeling incredible.
7 months into pregnancy and nesting kicks into overdrive, it hit me! What products will I be using to protect my daughter's skin, I was a bit disappointed with myself because up until then I'd never really thought about the type of skin my daughter would have once she was born, I was more worried about making it through the first night.....alive or childbirth!
Both safe and sound and we both made it through the next was what I could or couldn't not apply to her skin, or should I say should or should not be using on my babies delicate skin.
With so many new borns, mother and baby, brands out on the market currently it can all become a bit daunting. I wanted one that would be able to protect, hydrate and be pure on my daughter's skin and have the minimal amount of chemicals.
I came across or should I say first heard about Water Wipes whilst bouncing away on an inflatable ball in pregnancy Pilates class. I was intrigued or should I say what piqued my interest was that it was chemical free, yes chemical free! Couldn't believe it, finally music to my ears, so as a pregnant Mumma does I elegantly bounced myself up and waddled on over to find out more. Straight after class duck feet ready I quacked my way over to boots.
Preggers wasn't lying she was right, she also forgot to mention the slightly heavy price tag, but what does that matter when it comes to protecting your babies skin. Chemical Free, 99.9% water with a 0.1% fruit extract which is Citrus Grandis, similar to a Grapefruit and it's also a certified Allergy Friendly Product winning all round.
Fast forward 2 years and 10 months later and we are till using Water Wipes. I use them also, great to remove the days grime off my face, and I always make sure to have a pack (the lightest) in my bag to clean those messy faces, sticky fingers and snotty noses' too. But for me the big life safer is at night, Leanora gets a bad flare up of eczema in the folds of her arm and I take a wipe out and wipe her eczema where it has flared up and it helps settle her irritation helping her to be more comfortable and drifting off calmly back to sleep.
The only downside to Water Wipes is that when you get down to the last few, the water can drain out from the wipe leaving a pool of water at the bottom, but a little tip just flips it upside down, message the closed pack to help the water seep back in. The reasoning for this is, due to no chemicals holding/binding the water to the wipe.
We were sent a pack of Water Wipes for this review, but all views are my own and I'm happy to have them added to my collection, Mum was on her last two packets, phew!
If you've not yet heard or used Water Wipes and looking for a chemical free product to use on your babies or children's skin and a product certainly suitable for the whole family, or maybe you know of a friend/couple who are pregnant gift them a pack or box of Water Wipes.
Prices start from £2.70 and available to buy from Boots, Ocado, Amazon and most large supermarkets.
Have you tried Water Wipes before?
