The snow has finally broken, and I do I smell a hint of Spring in the air? Well being that I am sharing some Friday Favourites I am always hopeful as we have finally reached the weekend

Food
This week has all been about comfort food, something nice warming and fun from our cauliflower cheese & pancetta soup and sharing slow cooker brisket beef tacos we have been loving and eating this week.

Athleisure
Finally warm enough, well a tad to shed a few layers I'll be back this weekend in my comfort zone, in some off-duty athleisure to relax in not before our Sunday swimming ritual which I am super excited for as I have brand new mumma tum cover up in the form a high waisted bikini which I am loving.

Holidays
Easter holidays fast approaching I am scouring Pinterest for Easter food inspiration to my Easter meringue delight, to a tasty lamb dish to something new an exciting to make with Leanora to share with family and friends, the possibilities are endless and you can follow us over on Pinterest to see what are Friday favourites are.

Parenting
A great but tough week with work, but weekend is here which brings the delightful Mother's Day round which means time to be spoilt and fingers crossed showered with gifts, as well as partying it up with Big Fish Little Fish and spending some good quality Mumma and daughter time with Leanora, who has been cracking some brilliant one-liners and embarrassing ones too which I'll share more with you next week. I mean this kid, you couldn't make it up!

Happy Mothers Day and Happy Weekend.

How to make the most of your week count..... Simply get up and get into action. Humpdays can be a bit of a drag, as we sit dreaming of Fri-yay and looking forward to tucking into the weekend shenanigans and most of all de-stressing after a long week. With energy levels low, this is the time to put extra work in, so you can enjoy your weekend more and even prepare for the following week ahead.

On humpdays I like to get focused, it is easy for me to get into a bit of a downward grove, but I try to keep as upbeat as possible. I mean the worse thing is being negative, no one likes a negative nancy, plus humpdays are great to keep on top of your game and prepare ahead making your week more of a breeze, leaving you to sail through to the weekend dancing and feeling happy

To Do List
Nothing says forward-thinking and planning than creating a to-do list. Listing out what you need to do, gives you better leverage in getting organised and staying on top of things.

Meal prep
A great way to save a bit of money, plus knowing what you are eating and what you need to buy. Do you ever go to the supermarket and think, yeah I'll have that and that and that, sod it I'll take the bloody lot! Yeah, that's me alright, but not anymore, take care of the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves and all that jazz!

Get it done
Washing, ironing, confirm dates & appointments! Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today, quite simple really, so let's stop procrastinating let's get it done, you will feel much better and mind a lot freer

Be ruthless
I hate saying no, but sometimes you just gotta say no, how else are you going to get shit done, it is all about freeing up your time to enjoy the weekend.

Grow your relationships
With busy lives, you can forget and neglect those close to you, so get building some bridges, send a whatsapp message and get connecting and spend some quality time with those that make you happiest, come weekend you got a plan and fun scheduled in or just a lazy day or weekend planned.

How do you make your week count and I would love to hear, nothing like sharing some tips and tricks.

SHOP MY LOOK

I've realised and embraced, the fact that my daughter loves dressing up at any given opportunity and you know what I'm ok with it and I secretly loving buying her new costumes also, lets just not let her know that shall we!

Ever since we went to IKEA a few months back Leanora has an obsession with hot dogs, with lashings of ketchup, (utterly hate the stuff, smells weird) and what better way than saving the day on a day spent exploring London by fuelling up and trying out The Diner, in The Strands new Vegan menu, drum roll they have whooping great big hot dogs.

Bundled on the tube and fighting our way to get a seat and Leanora then nearly falling asleep, we finally made it to The Diner, to try out their tasty vast Vegan menu with some friends in tow.

We are always on the hunt for something new and tasty, especially when it involves some sweet potato fries and lashings of melted cheese on top and everyone's favourite good old mac n cheese.

Today I knew was going to be a good day, I work long weeks and last week I can not believe I clocked up 60+ hours at work, so it's important for me to make sure that my weekends are for Leanora, friends and family too, so we are always on an adventure cramming loads of sightseeing, food and giggles in and who better to spend it with than my cutie superhero.

What I love about London is that it is literally the food hub of the world, with new openings on a weekly basis, something from all over the world it's hard to not find something to suit everyone's taste, plus they are becoming more family friendly too.

Snuggly tucked away into our booth, we all knew what we wanted and set to order straight away and we wasted no time in ordering errthing!!

I love nothing more than a burger and don't get to have them often, so as soon as I saw the southern fried seitan burger I was all over it, I mean it's insanely good, I've had one before and hands down I rather eat this than a normal burger, plus you can't even tell that it's not even meat.

Fries, fries, fries, sweet potato fries oh how we loved thee and you made my heart skip a beat with cheese, I mean it's like little angels singing to you, well ones that we are going to wolf down and these sweet potato fries are simply heavenly. Crispy and sweet, what more could you want........

A bad boy side of vegan mac n cheese, I was a bit dubious, does it taste the same as normal mac n cheese, does it look the same, what can I say see for yourself and sorry to Sarah and the kids for eating it all and going into a mac n cheese coma!!

It was a thumbs up for Leanora for her veggie hot dog. Elias enjoyed it too.

Sarah went for the nacho salad, which was whopper I mean it was a mammoth of a salad, served in a crispy cajun roasted taco shell.

All giggly and stuffed, we headed for a stroll around the strand with the kids, them running off and hoping we could ketchup.

A massive thanks to The Diner for having us and we will be back soon to try out the vegan pancakes soon.

You can find The Diner at The Strand here for their Vegan menu, plus Soho and Islington too.

My jumper is from H&M and bag from Primark, Leanora's superhero costume is from Marks & Spencer's.

TGIF....Anyone else looking forward to taking it easy and relaxing this weekend, I know that I certainly am. After a busy working week, then getting ill I am looking forward to slobbing out on the sofa with Leanora and Milo and watching Strictly come dancing, not before we do the weekly shop, a bit of cake eating and some afternoon play, but before all that jazz and 5pm rolls on, I am sharing a few Friday favourites from the week.

I have a new found love of Pinterest, and I have been pinning like crazy and in need of some darling new friends, so come on over and stop by to say hi. I have a few new boards which I am super proud of, my love of this seasons box bags, Halloween inspo and home inspo, do come check me out.

Ok, I know I say this every month, but I have literally fallen head over heels with this month's MINTD Box truly I have, there have been a few things that I've been lusting after and they have truly delivered. This month is all about nigh time beauty. Ok, ok I've said too much and I'll be sharing with you whats inside next week, but for now, all I am saying is SUNDAY RILEY ok, ok ok NEOM! Phew, that is it I am keeping my mouth shut. Until next week, obvs!

As you know, I am currently updating the house and I recently stumbled upon this fab online store and I am loving there fabulous dining tables, which are perfect for the whole family to eat, plus sit and do the kids homework, which you can find here.

New favourite fashion find for this Autumn, is my new pearl biker boots from Bershka, perfect for trudging around plus how great do they look, check these similar pair from Stradivius, which you can find on my shop page.

New recipe and another sneak peek of this delicious creation thanks to Blendtec, my Strawberry N Vanilla Breakfast smoothie, look how scrumptious it looks. So stay tuned and check back next week, for the full recipe.

Ok, so I better get going, as I am about to lick the screen so I better go make up a new batch of smoothies.

What are you all up to this weekend? I would love to hear in the comments below!

One of the best things to do, is enjoy yourself and make the most of your weekend. Working weeks can leave little time for actually doing what you want to do with friends or family or quite frankly on your own. So why not make the most of it with these few handy tips this weekend.

Rise Early
Do not waste the day get up and enjoy your weekend, yes I know you want to lie in, but trust me, you and your mind and body will feel better for rising early and seeing more of your weekend. Not a fan of rising early, you will be when you head to your local cafe or farmers market for fresh coffee and croissants and a bit of people watching.

Plan Ahead
Nothing better than making a plan, this way you can cram in as much much as possible, know what you are doing and actually get what you want done.

Disconnect
This is possibly the hardest thing to do, but trust me a few days off from social media, will do your mind wonders and give your fingers a rest too! You want to enjoy your weekend after all not cram it with more social obligations and taking your from the real world.

Bike It
Get out and see your city, be it on a boris bike or your on bike! Just get on your bike and explore, you never know what you may find! Plus it's a great way of spending time on your own clearing your mind and reconnecting with you or loved ones.

Stop Worrying About Monday
Monday can wait, the office, the travel worry! Push it to the back of your mind there is nothing you can do right now to resolve it, and do you want to on YOUR weekend I think not!?

Have A Party
Getting to see friends can be tricky, life is tricky. So why not have a party get all your friends over, that way you can kill a few birds with one stone and see them all!

Do That One Thing You've Been Dying To Do
We all have that one thing we've been dying to do, be it painting the living room, seeing a show, heading out of your city and going to the countryside, simply just do it! Rise early and get up and go after all it's your weekend let's not spoil it for ourselves by over thinking things, lets make the most of it!

We've made it guys and gals its Friday, just a few more hours of work and the weekend is ours!  How will you be making the most of your weekend? I would love to hear, so please leave in your comments below or tweet me

Happy weekend.
