I am a firm believer that what you put out there in to the universe, is what you get right back and in this case I am putting out all the colour a dash of pink at a time, in hopes for Spring to finally arrive here in London......My prayers have been answered!

I personally prefer a neutral pallet when it comes to work, but I like to be adventurous when Spring is on the horizon and let everyone know it is fast approaching. I am not talking about bang in your face head to toe colour, I'll save that for brunch on the weekends, but a dash here or there during the week slotted in nicely in to my workwear is perfect, plus I like to give the directors heart attack not knowing how bright I'll be on the day!

Now adding colour to your workwear wardrobe doesn't have to be intense, there are my causal days where i'll go for a long sleeve striped breton top to work, which I'll wear with tailored trousers and a blazer, be it fitted or oversized and soon to be by the grace of god a light linen version! But to inject a pop of colour into it I'll opt for one a cerulean blue stripe or nice punchy red whilst still keeping it chic for work. you can not got wrong.

I have linked plenty of happy hues for you to peruse and shop above and below, so take advantage kick back and relax, enjoy the glorious sunshine, maybe with a vino in hand .

I hope you guys found this post helpful for your workwear needs, let me know your thoughts on the comments below or tag me in your spring workwear attire over on Instagram.

Happy shopping!

If I know I can wear it multiple ways and out to different occasions, from work, running errands, to mumma duties, then click to cart thank you very much!

The Mango sale has never been better and for once they have my size and loads of others in my favourite pieces.

When a sale is on, I must confess I hate going in to the stores, my anxiety kicks in and I freak out. I’m the kinda, kick back, relax and search the web kinda gal for get all the hustle as bussel of going into the shops.

I have been known to be an impulse buyer, I can say those times are safely behind me (one hopes) I put pen to paper and think about what I want to wear, what I need and think about all the different ways my look can be styled. I think about transitional pieces that can be layered up, worn with thick tights and chunky boots come winter, to un-layer the heavy duty pieces and opt for a lighter linen fabric come spring summer. Such as this spotted dress worn, who says you can’t team it with an over sized linen shirt, some super cute sandals, the perfect woven straw bag and hey presto, ready for summer and you’ve got another look with this great versatile dress which your now wearing as a skirt!

What are you favourite items from the Mango sale, have you managed to purchase anything yet?

Happy Monday guys! What can I say, but life has been great of late, the sun is shining we are venturing out more with friends and family, plus can you believe we are now in June, I mean where has the time gone so quickly, we are half way through the year already, but that's ok, the sun is out and so is the paddling pool.

This week, we've been staying at my grandfathers house, as it was half term for Leanora and unfortunately I had to be at work (no rest for the wicked) and it was great as all our little cousins were there too, so they had great company all round. As I couldn't be there for most of the day and the sun was glorious and beaming out, I treated them to brand new paddling pool so they can chill and keep cool.

Fret not, as soon as I got back from work and made my tasty new perfect weeknight dinner, as tasty dish of  asparagus, courgette, chicken and orzo pasta. I grabbed a big bowl a very large glass of rose, my new fave being from Kylie Minouge, I pulled up a pew and dipped my feet in to the early evening.

We also got a few new books, just because Leanora was off from school doesn't mean she should not be kept occupied and get a little education in. I picked up a few CGP books, these are great for kids studying, I got loads of math's and her fave subject 2 science books, I mean she can't stay in the pool all day, she will shrive up like a prune. Unfortunately I did not treat myself to any new books, as I've still two new one I need to get through, but I will be making a dent in those this week.

New month's bring new flowers, and my favourite blooms peonies have now come in to the florists and I treated my home and grandads to have few new bunches. I literally can not get enough of these, I have a weird obsession anytime I see them I have to buy them all.

A new thing, well not new I just have not been in years, who knows why, but every time I go I enjoy it. Now Leanora is of an age she can understand about going to church. I think it is a great way to bond, learn about our belief meeting new people, especially the older ladies, who are the cutest telling me all about the christian dating scene and all the best christian dating site to check out. I mean do i have single all over my forward or something haha! But set aside, going back to church is something Leanora and I will be doing regularly on a Sunday morning.

After church, headed home to do a quick spring clean, get Leanora's uniform ready as the half term has come to an end and a big meal prep for the week ahead. This is something I enjoy doing on a Sunday I like to get a meal plan in some I know what I need for the week and what to buy,  and where appropriate have it prepped, so much time and food saved this way.

What do you guys have planned for this week, anything fun and exciting or even new you plan on doing. Don’t forget you can also tag me over on Instagram or by using the #LondonMumma tag to show me what you get up to or keep up to date on what’s new on the blog via Bloglovin!

Disclaimer: this is a paid collaborative post but all words are my own

Hey guys! I have had a super busy morning, last night I was feeling so lazy, I could not be bothered to hang out the washing, I literally wanted to crash as I had spent most of last night, glueing my fingers together, making Leanora's Easter hat for her parade this morning and I have to say, she looked super cute along with the other children in her class.

I can not believe how quick this year is going and we are already in April, with the weather undecided on what it wants to do, I mean we are what day 3 in to April and we've already had sun, showers and even hail stone's, making it super tricky on deciding on what to wear, but alas it is April, and with that comes April showers!

I've created a wish list of items, to help see us through this unpredictable month and prepare us for Spring and upcoming holidays.

1. H&M Utility Dress, honestly this is a perfect item to see us into Spring. I am a major fan of all things military and having a military dress is great for day to night, teamed with some gold jewellery and some flats you will look great from sunrise to sunset.

2. Short Sleeved Cashmere Knit, A light and airy sweater to keep you warm and looking super stylish, great worn with jeans or a silky skirt.

3. Raffia Bag, This bag is high up on my owns list, it is perfect for holidays and if you have a little one it is large enough to fit everything in, plus look at the detail is so beautiful I've fallen in love with it.

4. Swimwear, I am dreaming of our beach holiday this year, I am still undecided on where to go be it Greece, Spain or Italy for some fun in the sun but where I go this and Other Stories goes too.

5. Sleeveless Lyocell Twist Knot Midi Dress, we all need a black dress, it is a classic and timepiece and a great addition to our wardrobe. I'd pair this dress with a denim jacket, some gold hoops and sandals and I am good to go and conquer the day.

6. Black Hoop Sandals from Mango, a much needed essential for a Spring wardrobe is a good stylish pair of flats, I love the hoop design in these sandals, which are very minimalist.

7. Light Wash Denim Jacket from H&M, every year I get a new denim jacket I have a slight obsession with them, they are great for layering and look good worn with just about anything, this is a super affordable one that I will no doubt be wanting to wear into the summer season also.

8. Wide leg cream H&M trousers, I love a white pair of trousers, jeans too, I do not often get to wear them as I have Miss Sticky Fingers Leanora around, but I love the shape and no doubt will be packing her off to the grandparents just so that I can wear them on a night out, with the cream knit, denim jacket and sandals and raffia bag.

What Items are on your wish list this April?

I have to admit, I have been holding out on my Christmas shopping to grab some bargains and big savings for the Black Friday Sale and it is finally here upon us and I am super excited. Something about knowing that I've made a saving just make me happy, especially as we are in the festive period and there is so much to see and do throughout this next few months, plus Winter Wonderland officially opens today so I know Leanora will be wanting to go on a weekly basis.

I always start with the electronics as this is where most of my money goes, plus is this not where the Black Friday sales started with? Do you remember the carnage caused at Asda where a massive stampede happened all to swipe a TV! Yup, I do and I do not intend on venturing to any store, that is why it is key to have your list and wishlist items saved and enjoy the sales from the comfort of your own home (or office desk!). Leanora for Christmas wants a Nintendo Switch so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that I also know that Amazon are having huge sales on there video games too, unto 40% off. For me, I am planning finally to start blogging next year, so I've been looking at ring lights, along with toying with the idea of upgrading my MacBook and there is no better time to bag one in one of the biggest sales.

Electricals

I am currently in the process of redecorating the house, I've got all the big things, such as a bed and sofa, but it's just the smaller things to bring it all together, such as cushions, lamps and other bits to help decorate the home and make it more festive for Christmas. I've also been eyeing up a new little chair of the bedroom and footstool as well as new coffee machine. The idea is to think about what you want, otherwise, if I did not I'll just simply splash the cash and most likely end up with items that I do not want and do not fit with my home or style, so a little forward planning is essential.

Home

Ok, so we all need a little treat and what better time to spoil yourself in a justifiable way when saving money. I've been eyeing up these amazing Veja trainers for Leanora and myself and with the temperature drop, some new oversize knits and cardigans for us too, along with some new denim, you can never have too many pairs of jeans right! Arket have some great pieces in and adding items daily to the sale, a brand that I love for the whole family and home along with another fave Boden who is offering 30% of with code N3N1.

Fashion

Honestly if you have a few beauty products that you use time and time again, this is the time to stock up on some foundation, mascara and even skincare products that you just can not live without ladies, plus it is a great time to get some bits in for the men in your life for Christmas.

As a city worker, there is nothing I love more than a new fashion find that I am able to wear to work and casually out of work, more bang for my buck springs to mind! Plus with the temperatures rising, the appeal of a fitted dress, or trouser suit is not that enticing and thinking about it alone makes me wanna pass out.

Creeping into my wardrobe is the tailored, floaty shorts, they scream, business but playful and fun too, whilst not normally worn to the office and reserved more for the beach, this summer they are an alternative to the trouser and I must say they are so perfect for the office and after work drinks, plus they keep you cool from day to night.

It's all about comfort and the lose fitted option is the way to keep you cool, plus I have to blame Sainsbury's as this was where I  spotted these beauties, that has fuelled my obsession with tailored shorts this summer. Reiss has a great selection and they do tailoring ever so well, I've found the coolest ones here which are currently on my wish list.

With so many different styles to choose from, if opting for the longer length I certainly recommend wearing it with a crisp blazer and a basic white tee. For short tailored shorts, all you need is a good shirt, some great flats and a trusty bag. I am keeping it neutral, and beige, my style is always changing and evolving, but at the moment, I am drawn to white, neutral and beige tones, opting for a more classic and chic look and I am finding that I am able to mix and match more key pieces in my wardrobe. If you are looking for texture, why not wear some white shorts with a leopard print top or my new fave print is the zebra print, some gold statement jewellery to give it a more luxe feel. Just remember to keep the shorts loose fitted, I'm going for a size up for a more relaxed look.

It's time to shop till you drop, or on a better note in the comfort of your own home this festive period.... Is it me or do you find that the sales start earlier and earlier each year and can become a little bit overwhelming and I must confess I hate going into stores, I steer well clear of Oxford Circus, I don't fancy being in that concrete jungle anytime soon, elbowing my way through childless and with the right footwear on to run and nab those pair of vinyl trousers i've been lusting over!

Instead I am shopping from the comfort of my own home armed with the left over festive booze, nothing like a little drunken (just a tad) shopping to encourage me to overfill my basket! So with my feet firmly propped up, it was time for me to get down and dirty to shop the New Years sales to peruse the web so you don't have to.

I have linked a few of my fave items from my fave stores for you, family and friends.

Enjoy! Let me know what you snap up in the comments below. x

Leanora and I headed to Clapham Common for a much needed stroll, nothing quite like getting out and breathing in the autumn chill air to clear our lungs and embrace the new seasonal change in weather and peruse the new autumn leaf colours and collect a few on route too, before we hit the playground for a short period, which turned into hours.

I don't know what it is, but no matter the weather, come rain or shine, Leanora never wants to wear a coat, you would think she is some half reptile girl child, but luckily that is not the case, as I was there at you know and then again at childbirth....I think ha! But seriously am I the only parent who has a nutbag of a child who never wants to wear a coat? Well maybe not, after chasing Leanora for 20 minutes around the park I gave up, A because what's the point, she will only take it off when my backs turned B I feel a bit silly chasing after my child around the busy park and somewhat embarrassed C embarrassment left when I saw a mother having a go at her little one for taking off his shoes and running around barefoot! And breathe, normality restored, I'm not the only frenzied parent trying to get their kids clothes on and stay firmly on.

With new seasons come new outerwear and what better way to get in to the swing of winter than with a new seasonal appropriate padded puffa jacket. They uber cosy and great for snuggling up in now that the weathers as dropped rapidly. I love that they come in so many different lengths and colours and Next are spoiling us both with so many different choices and styles on offer.

I picked up Leanora's yellow one as its bold plus great to brighten up these dark ice days. Great for wearing it to preschool as it's bright enough to spot her, plus it's perfect as it's fluffy wool lined on the inside and has a hood perfectly keeping her head warm. I styled it with some navy blue leggings and cosy tights underneath, worn with her lucky long-sleeved sweater and sparkly kitty trainers, because which girl does not love sparkly kitty trainers!

I decided to opt for a nice bold red, the colour of the season. I love that it has a high neck to help protect me from all the icy chilly air. I paired it with a mid blue skinny denim jean but works well with any colour denim. I wore a warm tan jumper and white trainers, making it a perfect relaxed look for any day. Why not dress it up with some knee high boots, black skinny jeans and a sparkly top underneath.

With so many different puffa jackets on offer from Next, you are totally spoilt for choice and I'm glad we bagged a few, as when we roll out the house it feels as if we are still at home snuggled in our duvet.

The puffer this winter is our total saviour, has it been yours?

A massive thank you to Next for keeping us warm and feeling like angels wrapped in fluffy clouds and collaborating with us on this post.

The moment I get a whiff of that glorious Autumn air, I go on a hunt for my new cosy knitwear, mohair, cashmere a heavy knit, striped, I crave them all, but this time around I am loving and buying coloured knitwear for Autumn, the bolder the better. Why? Because nothing boosts your day and mood than injecting some colour into your wardrobe and life.

Now I must stress I am not a fashion blogger per say and can talk endlessly about a jumper and hot to style it, that's not just who I am, not that there is anything wrong with it, but boy am I going to talk your head off and get all fashion-y on this post. You ready......! For me it is all about how it hangs, draping, style and fit, but most importantly can I get more than one wear out of it, well of course, but can I style it multiple of ways, and the answer is yes you can!

Balancing act
Why not toughen up and pair your coloured knit with a vinyl skirt, a must-have essential this season, trousers too. Go big, or go home earrings and some sock boots, you're good to go for a Saturday brunch with some pals, and Threenager for me.

Pants up
Heading to work, why not team up your coloured knit with a pair of wide leg, high waisted trousers, tuck in at the front, let it hang at the back,  grab a cross body bag  costing less than £17, sunnies on then go grab your coffee and your out, business at the bottom, cosy coloured at the top, perfect combo to cheer up those work days.

Jeanius
Soften the whole look up for a more laid-back approach to your days, than wearing your favourite jeans, shirt underneath paired with some loafers makes for the perfect autumn stroll.

Dress-it-up
Found that perfect knit dress, then rock it with some comfy sock boots and you are good to roll, keep it simple.

Are you loving coloured knitwear? How will you be wearing it for Autumn? I'd love to hear your thoughts below.

Do you find yourself engulfed in stress and don't know what to do, where to go or even how to dust your shoulders off and shake it off? Do not worry, I've got you and I am sharing a few tried and tested tips to help you deal with stress the healthy way.

When juggling, home, work and family life, there obviously times when stresses arise, but it is how you deal with it that counts. After a tough few weeks myself with family, home and everything else in the mix, I had to make a decision a HARD decision, but you know what, it is the best decision in the long run for me and my family and happiness. There are certain sacrifices that we have to make, but as hard as they are in life you have to let toxic stress go, in order for you to have a happy and prosperous life.

With all that doom and gloom stress brings, look at it in a positive way, turn a negative into a positive and let that stress push you into a happy, creative, fun loving place. Sometimes the hardest things in life are the easiest to allow you to achieve your goal.

Realisation
Once you realised how stressed you are and knowing that you need to do something about it, is the first step in realising that there is something not quite right. The first step is always the hardest, but it is the perfect step for you to become healthier and happier.
Take control

Eat Healthy
When stressed o one of the first things that can go out the window is your diet! I mean am I right, we literally go for the naughty stuff instantaneously, that naughty chocolate bar or some tasty honey roasted cashew nuts and that can of fizzy, we know it is bad for us, but it is our comfort, but step away from the cheeseburgers guys and those super tasty salty chips and go for an alternative, your gut, and your skin will thank you for it.

Exercise
Nothing burns off negativity and stress quicker than working out, find something that works for you and your lifestyle and most importantly stick to it.

Confide
Now this can be a tricky one, whilst it is great to get your worries off your chest, by confiding and talking to someone, make sure it is the right someone, as so-called friends who you thought were friends, but not really your friend, will find no problem in throwing it right back at you. Surround yourself with positive and trustworthy people that you can rely on.

Take control
Take the bull by the horns and take control when things are going topsy-turvy, the moment you are able to grasp onto your future, the easier and relaxed you will be.

I would love to hear how you handle stress and overcome it, in the comments below, or over on my Twitter page.
