It might just be my favourite season yet!!! Halloween! Not only because it's the spookiest time of the year, but half term is here, which means no school for Leanora and some time off from work for me.

I am a planner, it is a simple as that I always like to know what I am doing and plan some fun activities in the half term. So I decided to share some not only fun activities to do, but days out and places to go an eat, in my 8 Things To Do With The Kids This Half Term.

We recently attended Neat Burger over in Central London, and all I can say is you must go. For kids it is perfect they have their own menu which is super affordable, plus it is a really decent amount of food that they get, even my little piggy couldn't finish it all. Neat Burger is full of flavour and I have to say one of my favourite Vegan burger spots.

Can you believe this is the final year that you will be able to skate at the Natural history Museum, so get your skates on and getting booking this exhbition will be running from the 22nd October and closes its doors on the 16th January 2022.

My all time favourite 90's film has to be Hocus Pocus, and this Halooween, Vue cinemas are showing this across London, so grab some popcorn and get booking and settle in to watch this spooky movie.

Halloween upon us and looking for a fright and something spooky to do, London Dungeons is perfect for an afternoon of fun and fright to get you in to the spooktacular Halloween mood.

Get your coats and scarves on, and lets head out on an adventure and hunt for the Gruffalo. Kew Gardens this half term  have fun surprises installed for you all as you go on a magical adventure through the deep dark wood. You’ll meet familiar beloved characters from author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler’s book, including Fox, Owl, Snake, the Gruffalo, the Gruffalo’s Child and of course, the Big Bad Mouse.

Just because the kids are off school doesn't mean you can not learn whilst at home. Lets get scienced up and learning, there are loads of great science kits you can buy on Amazon and I've linked some of our favourites here.

I am a big kid at hear and I've always been a little particular when it comes too colouring in and staying in the lines in paramount! When not being that weirdo mum, Leanora and I love to do a three colour challenge where you close your eyes and pick on ly 3 colours and you have to colour in with just those colours or creat your own masterpiece with just those. needing a little spooktacular inspiration The Everymom has some free downloadable's.

Before Leanora I was never much of an Halloween person, dressing upa ll that jazz was not for me, but send me into the stationary store Rymans  I am guaranteed to come out in my weight of paints, pens, pencils you absolutely name it! We will be making these super egg carton halloween characters and its a great way of decoration and crafting together with the kids.

Don’t forget you can also follow me over on Instagram or by using the #LondonMumma tag to show me what you get up to or keep up to date on what’s new on the blog via Bloglovin!

For a spooktacular treat to make, eat and share with the kids or for your Halloween Party, why not whip up these super quick and delicious ghoulish ghost pretzels this Halloween.

With Halloween a mere day away and the Halloween weekend just passed, there is still so much time for ghoulish-scares and treats and these salty and sweet ghost pretzels will certainly be a winner for you and your guests plus your trick or treaters too.

The ghost pretzels are a big hit in the London Mumma household and they never last long and we've made these 3 times over the weekend just gone, plus it is great that I have a handy helper who loves helping me out. So if you have kids or nieces and nephews, get them involved, nothing like spending time together and getting creative, plus they can help wash up too, not that you will have much washing up to do.

Ingredients
60g Schar Gluten Free Pretzels (or any other)
200g White Chocolate
25g Edible Eyes

Tools
Microwavable bowl
A Fork
Parchment paper

Instructions
1. break up white chocolate into small pieces, par one for you to eat! Place broken white chocolate into a microwavable bowl and hit up for 30-40 secs and take out occasionally to give it a stir, to make sure that it has all melted.
2. Lay out your parchment paper and set to one side.  Drop in your pretzels one at a time, take your fork and make sure it is all coated, then place your coated pretzels on to your parchment paper. Take 2 eyes and place on the top holes, repeat until all pretzels are done.
3. Place your parchment tray with your ghost pretzels into the fridge for 10-15 minutes until hardened, then serve.

We hope you enjoy these ghoulish ghost pretzels, as much as we did. Happy Halloween!

The week can be a serious drag, but finally its FRIYAY! So with a hop skip and jump in our step, we are dancing our way into the weekend, but before we sashay on through, this week we have some great finds for you that we are utterly loving, from beauty to fashion and everything ghoulishly spectacular in between. So with out further ado, here is our fabulous finds of the week!

Heading out this Halloween weekend and in need of a party dress, why not opt for something romantically floral or even a sequin dress to dance the night away in, but make sure to grab something quick for a spook-tacular weekend.

A little throwback to last weeks event with the glamours team and fabulous bloggers at Bobbi Brown's New HQ in Soho, showcasing a new Autumn makeup look, which we have been trying out this week and you know what I love it, their foundation stick is simply divine and glides on like a dream, but I have had to hide my goodies from Leanora, as she is now obsessed with all things makeup I mean the girl has become fascinated with YouTube as one does, and I've even caught her applying makeup to poor Milo, because he likes it and they are getting party ready! Go figure! Toddlers ! But thanks to Bobbi Brown's night, I also got to meet a lovely lady,  Melissa who's blog I follow and adore and you must check her out here.

Not yet got your pumpkins and wondering on how to decorate them, then look no further at this weeks no-carve pumpkin decoration ideas, or hit up the Pinterest page for some inspo.

Today is the day, if you are wondering why the office is eerily quiet it is because some people have pulled a sickie to binge on this year's most anticipated cult 80's inspired scary show Stranger Things and we are so freaking excited! I do not have Leanora tonight, so I've got my popcorn all ready, some ghoulish treats which we will be sharing with you tomorrow, so keep those eyes peeled new pj's for the occasion and I am diving right into bed to watch the whole thing!

After a few hours binge on Stranger Things and hoping if there would be a 3rd series and needing something to quench that thirst, head on over to Topshop they have some great Stranger Things merchandise that I've got my eye on, and if in Oxford Circus you have to check out their store-front, totally amazing I'll also show it to you over on my Insta Stories too.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Ok, so we are halfway through Octobers half term holiday and there is still so much to see and do! From Halloween party makeup practice to going nuts at Kidtropolis and so many other great family fun days out and fun things to make, so why not make the most of it with the kids, ŵith a few half term treats.

Looking to get away and pack up the car, the kids the dog or cat for the last few days this week before the kids go back to school and you return to work, nothing beats heading into the country for some fresh autumnal air, but before you do! Safety comes first in the form of car maintenance, it is so simple and so basic but these things can easily be forgotten when piling up the car with luggage, necessities, and let's not forget to not have a home alone situation, the kids! A quick simple check of your engine oil, brake fluid levels, car tyre tread, keeps your car happy and you all safe, plus can have you saving loads on repairs, with simple car maintenance check-ups on a regular basis, think of it like going to your doctors. Here are the top most important car checks according to me:

•  Tyres: It is extremely crucial to make sure that all four tyres are in good condition and there is a spare as well in case of a flat tyre. Make sure there are no cuts or bumps in any of the tyres and tread is also in legal limits. Since tyres are the only part of the vehicle that is in contact with the road, it is essential that they are in top notch condition
• Brakes: Another very important element is the brakes. Make sure your brakes are working fine and that there is enough brake fluid in the car to keep them working properly
• Exhaust:  car exhaust helps in keeping the harmful fumes away from the cabin, if the exhaust is broken down or not working properly it can lead to a buildup of harmful gases inside the car which can be very harmful. Make sure to check your exhaust before going on a trip, if you live in or around the area  you can book your car exhaust replacement  in Dundee from Fife Autocentre

Now, we are not far off from Halloween and if you and the kids are still needing some inspiration, why not look no further than the professionals and the magnificent show, then Cirque du Soleil! They have a great tutorial video for you to master your makeup skills for Halloween.

Leanora and I were invited to attend Kidtropolis, our first ever time going and boy was it fun, plus I wish I wore jeans than a dress! A great family fun day out, filled with shows from an all-time fave sooty, dancing act by flawless, plus Leanora fave a performance by PJ Masks and Octonauts, who she got to meet too. With plenty of time in between shows, why not get crafting with ..... or go roller skating, the Dj will certainly have you all in a spin (FYI, I totally owned that floor, thanks to channeling my 8-year-old self who had no fear), or try the bouncy castle assault course, just don't wear a dress, so your butts not in the air, super embarrassing I must say, especially having to run after a toddler, then the whole of flawless seeing your arse, but they said nothing to my surprise, I would have totally roared my head off, but the gents they were helped Leanora round (thank you) well a little, they couldn't keep up with her little legs, neither could I! But if you fancy something a little bit more relaxed you can go golfing or peruse all the shops or grab a bite to eat.

With the days being a little dark and Halloween only a few days away, why not get your creative juices going and make these easy peasy no-carve pumpkins or head over to my Pinterest page for some more inspo.

For those looking to source Leanora's blue dress, knee high socks and mary-jane shoes you can find them over at Base Fashion and Next.

Happy Half Term.

Autumn is officially here, Instagram and Pinterest are awash with Autumn pics and pumpkins have been making an appearance in time for Halloween and with a hovering toddler of my shoulder, we were both eager to get into the spirit and make our own.

Beware our hands or home will never look the same after you have finished decorating your pumpkins this year, but they will certainly look fabulous and make a great centre point in or outside the home, plus it is great fun for the kids and little less mess than carving and a lot less dangerous too, plus food for thought, don't be lazy and get over excited like we did, throw on a cosy knit, grab an old sheet or newspapers and get creative outside!

As you may of not of known, i've recently signed up to Pinterest and have been going mad for it, brain is bursting with decorating ideas and I just can not believe we have not got involved sooner, but we are certainly making it up right now, so please do come over and say hi.

House filled with pumpkins which we bagged at Asda, the large ones for a £1 the little ones for 50p, a total bargain, even if they did not look super great, but the end result will have them looking great in no time.

A tub of acrylic paint, some gold glitter, a little PVA glue and you are set to make these super easy no-carve pumpkins.

1. Wipe down your pumpkins with a dry cloth, then paint twice with your acrylic paint and leave to dry for around 20 minutes.

2. Grab your PVA glue with a little spatula, then thinly apply your circle or striped design, then spring like mad your gold glitter, or fairy dust as Leanora likes to say (we seem to be moving on from unicorns) and leave to dry for a few hours.

There you have it super easy no-carve pumpkins, all sparkly designed and the look great in or outside the home, all in time for the Halloween festivities.

Once you have made yours let me know what you think! not bad for a first timer hey!

Why not pin the pics for some home inspo for you! or check out these super tasty extremely spooky Halloween party food to make after.

So..We have kinda gone a little bit Unicorn and Pony mad in the London Mumma household, not my own doing, but toddler related. Whilst I love the magical creatures and real-life ponies too, Leanora has been going crazy over it. Whilst before I never thought I would be for it, I am totally indulging her every magical whim......Well, how else am I going to get my glasses back!

There is no real reason for this post, but I love these pictures so much, I just could not resist sharing, plus we had a blast this weekend, partying it up with BFLF we just had to share it with you.

I think as parents and being a single parent I just want to capture every single moment of my little Cha-chi, so when she is older I can show all the pictures, which she will undoubtedly think is totally shaming, but I rule the roost..........hmmmm! So she has to endure it and strike a pose.

With Halloween not too far off, the stores are awash with fab kids Halloween inspired clothing, from Leanoras unicorn jumper dress from good old M&S to sleepwear from LIDL (my new fave store). I mean have you seen the new range of clothing H&M has to offer for kids, us big kids too. For those who are not the dressing up type i.e ME there are wearable clothing and accessories out there too.

We had a little tastier of dressing up on Saturday gone, we got down and party liked rock stars at Big Fish Little Fish, a good time family rave. One thing I miss about pre-Mumma days was just to get up and go out and shake my money maker like there was no tomorrow, and then probably stumble in tomorrow! But gone are those crazy single days, it is a new story now, which takes me weeks of military precision of getting a babysitter, reconfirming, then having to get the grandparents in or sister down from Notts, which can all be a pain in the arse, but I guess that comes with parenting. But not one to miss out on a party and one that is not just catered to adults, but most importantly the kids, it makes for a great family day out, where you get to meet other parents just like you, and with loads to do from face painting, disco raving, to various arts and crafts, you are spoilt with loads of things to keep everyone happy and entertained, plus they have a bar, so if ordering a glass of your choice, no one frowns upon it, whilst living it up with the kids. Big Fish, Little Fish is something that I would honestly encourage any family or 80's babies, with babies to go and get your party on!

A massive thank you to Big Fish Little Fish, for having us and looking forward to the spooktacular events coming up.

Stuck on ideas on what to get the kids to wear this Halloween, check out my shoppable real for inspo or check out my Pinterest page.

I am still deciding on what to wear this Halloween, do you have any ideas?

Well hello there Friday, you looking good and mighty fine! Can you guys believe we are firmly in the Autumn months, be it the sun is making the odd morning appearance here in London, it sure is nippy first thing in, but I am secretly craving for the first of the Autumn leaves to change into various shades of brown and orange, to fall upon the floor, so that I can get my new booties out, Leanora's too. Plus one of my new favorite festivities is soon approaching Halloween, excited to create a costume for Leanora, no doubt if she gets her own way it will be princess related and not a ghastly ghoul in site ha!

I have pulled a few things that I am totally loving right now and have added to my Friday Favorites this week....

Now these tasty beauties are perfect for those Autumn days, plus they make the house smell divine too, for curling up on the sofa, with a hot cuppa coffee, a good book, and these tasty pumpkin Spice biscuits, that last no time in the house.

Can you believe I finally made it out the house, I had organised a Hen Party Dinner, for my darling friend Banke, who is also a fabulous blogger. We ventured to the tastiest of Pan Asian restaurants DSTRKT and dived into its vast menu, if you find yourself in Soho I would certainly recommend
checking it out.

You may of remember from my recent MINTD beauty post, I spoke about this Omorovicza, Queen of Hungary face mist, ever since I have had it, it has become a firm favorite and I take it everywhere with me, not just great for keeping my skin refreshed and hydrated, but is a perfect barrier for the days impurities, as well as leaving my skin glowing even after applied to matt makeup.

As you know, I am currently in the midst of redecorating the house and I have totally fallen in love with the new collection at H&M Home, it was just too good not to share with you all.

With LFW just wrapped up, all over the catwalks, we spotted various shades of girlie pink coats and I am totally in love with this faux fur Mango pink coat, perfect for the Autumn months.

I’d love to hear about your week in the comments!
