This Neom, English lavender, sweet basil & jasmine plus 16 other essential oils all blended perfectly together in this Tranquility scented candle is perfect to unwind with 20-30 minutes before bed, this luxurious candle's fragrance just oozes pure luxury. I like to light this before going to bed, whilst relaxing in the bath and filling the whole house with its desirable scent and this little beauty burns up to 20 hours.
Aromatherapy Associates is a brand that I am extremely familiar with and love dearly and this light relax bath and shower oil, currently takes centre stage in my bathroom, high up enough from Leanora's little toddler fingers. The perfect oil, a few drops needed only to help aid a peaceful and relaxing nights sleep, after a busy day, plus it leaves the whole bathroom smelling like heaven thanks to the restful powers of Lavender, Ylang-ylang and Petitgrain ingredients.
Once out the bath and moisturised, I spritzed Supermoods, sweet pillow scent over my pillows, honestly with all the gorgeous aromas, filling your home, it truly feels like you have brought the spa into your home. A light spritz goes a long way, I like to close the door once I have done this, to not let any of the aromatic scents leave the room, as I find that helps me have more of peaceful and tranquil sleep.
The piece de resistance, out of this whole box and something I have been dying to get my hands on, is Sunday Rileys, luna sleeping night oil! A little thicker than most, but totally not greasy at all, it is formulated with a derivative of trans-retinoic acid to minimise the appearance of pores, loss of elasticity and slow the development of wrinkles, I use a few drops once my cleansed face and allow it to soak into my dehydrated skin. I've been using this for 2 weeks and I have to say I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my now glowing and nourished skin when I wake.
Omorovicoza is the perfect at home facial wonder and any beauty lover would certainly agree. Applied 2-3 times a week, only a little is needed and the gel-like consistency helps calm and plump skin and trust me when I say when you wake in the morning your skin looks amazing, my skin looked more balanced and radiant. Plus a little tip thanks to Leanora, I went on a hunt for this last Friday after I went out and found it in the fridge and thanks to miss sassy pants, my skin was glad for it, the perfect travel-sized companion.
Overall, I have to honestly take my hat off to MINTD Box this months box is super exciting and I am loving all the products and brands in this box, it truly did not disappoint, I know I say it each month, but hands down guys and gals, get your beauty hands on this box for £65 is a total daylight robbery for all the right reasons. You'd think I would have had enough of them and they me, but each month I am astounded, they always exceed my expectations and every month I fall in love with them a little, ok, ok, a lot more! Cleansing is such a vital part of my skincare routine and when I want something a bit more hydrating for my skin on those busy days and feel I need a bit more of an uplift or if I have been wearing heavier makeup, this deep pore cleanser by Sajal Balans is ideal to clear the days impurities or any residue makeup. Personally this can be used day or night, but I like to start my day with it, giving my skin the boost it needs in hydration for the day, plus leaves my face feeling super clean and soft thanks to the fig, African whitewood and precious metal extracts also infused with anti-microbial properties that leave my blotchy red skin looking and feeling calm in the morning.
After cleansing, I reached for Earth Tu Face, Hydrate & repair face balm, it is perfect to help boost dehydrated skin and this super botanical balm increases cellular regeneration and facilitates tissue repair, perfect as I recently had a breakout or those that suffer from skin problems, plus the rose petals infused helped calm the irritation. I've always believed that no matter where you are in the world be it at home or on holiday near or far, you should always have a travel beauty kit with you.
Ameliorate a brand that I've come to know and love since its first introduction from MINTD have recently launched their travel beauty kit just in time for the holiday season, helping to boost, renew, smooth your skin all the while helping you keep that perfect holiday glow.
Three darling beauties are in this dermatologist approved kit, smoothing body exfoliant, nourishing body wash and the transforming body lotion all perfectly suitable to be neatly tucked away in your travel case.
I am a major exfoliant girl, not just on my face but body too, nothing makes me happier, knowing that my skin is being purified from the days grime and pollutants and I am always striving for a healthy glow, so why not achieve that with your body too. Ameliorates Smoothing Body Exfoliant does not let you down, my main concern at first was that I do have sensitive skin, now whilst I want to not feel as if I am tearing and damaging my skin further, taking one for the team I popped into the shower to give this a go! It was a dream and one that I was happy not to wake from. It is truly a gentle exfoliant (if there is such a thing, but trust me it's this) the biodegradable exfoliants just glides over the skin, all whilst helping to boost healthy skin surface renewal. My skin was left feeling super soft and smelt delicious and hydrated thanks to the shea and cocoa butter and coconut oil.
The perfect body wash to start the day, especially if you are looking for an instant uplift and wake up call! My favourite types of body wash are ones that smell heavenly but not overpowering, simply calming and making me feel invigorated and this Ameliorate infused with my favourite germanium, orange and cedarwood is the perfect shower companion to start those early mornings and leaves your skin feeling cleansed and moisturised.
I am a total sucker for a luxurious body cream, especially one like this that just seeps its way into your skin, leaving it smooth to the touch and hydrated and most importantly non-greasy. Nothing is more magical than being able to try something new, especially when it involves a brand that you have been coveting and lusting over for quite some time.
Darphin, every French woman's best kept secret and I have been lucky enough to be sent a beautiful selection of goodies from their vast range, from a cleanser, serum, cream, to oil for your face, body and hair and all from this darling Parisian brand.
Darphin, a luxurious Parisian skincare brand originated in Paris, more than fifty years ago, all boasting with botanicals and potent, and natural ingredients harvested at their peak, leaving your skin and hair bursting with its beautiful aromatic formulas.
First out of the range to try, was the Aromatic Cleansing Balm With Rosewood, I do not use cleansing balms much, but this super rich fragrant balm has totally converted me, God knows why I have not been using a balm, maybe it is me being a tad lazy at times to remove makeup and no thinking if they would work and just sit on the skin, but this aromatic cleansing balm, infused with 4 botanical ingredients just glides and absorbs into your skin, helping to lift the days impurities, whilst nourishing your skin thanks to its light milky emulsion when washed off which left my skin feeling uber smoother and looking radiant.
Next up was the Hydraskin Intensive Moisturising Serum, now my skin has been feeling a bit dry, down to this weather that we have been having don't get me wrong, crazy loving this heatwave we have been having, but it has been drying my skin out at night. So this serum is perfect for injecting back some much needed NOTICEABLE hydration into my parched skin, after a dry nights sleep.
Before makeup application I reached for the Hydraskin Light Gel Cream, now this little beauty is gorgeous, not can you just feel the results but you see it. My skin can be a bit red at times, but the gel cream instantly soothes and calms and left my face feeling refreshed and re-energised and felt ready to conquer the day, helping to reduce the redness. The Hydraskin Light Gel Cream is perfect for those with normal to combination skin, or for those dry nights boosting back hydration into your skin day after day and trust me a little goes a long way.
The real magic starts at night! A true pampering indulgence starts off with Darphin's Revitalising Oil For Face, Body & Hair. This beautifully crafted blend of plant and essentials oils is super luxurious and will leave your body feeling like a million bucks and help soothe you into a blissful nights sleep. Whilst I am yet to use it on my face or hair I don't mind allowing my body absorbing the bottle.
You know I am a major fan of oils, so super excited like an eager beaver to get out of the bath, oil up with the above and a pour a few delicate drops of the Chamomile Aromatic Care into my hands, then warm up the oil by gently rubbing my hands together. I literally fall to my knees whilst inhaling the glorious intoxicating essential oil, not only did it leave me feeling calm and relaxed and ready for my slumber, but this too helped relieve and calm my blotchy red skin and noticed that over a period of time my skin looked my balanced and clear and woke up feeling better and more relaxed for it.
So since sticking with Darphin for a few weeks, what do I think? Quite simply, move over you, French Ladies! This London Mumma is going to be clearing the stock of Darphins luxurious goodies and creating my own Darphin botanical garden in my home.
