I have to confess, I was dreading when I got to the threenager stage with Leanora, especially as I did find the terrible two's hard at the beginning, but it evened itself out.

Thank the Lord and a helping hand of wine aka mumma's juice!

Now 3 1/2 years old, and firmly in the threenager stage, it and my little sassy madam are fine, and you know what I am loving it and I am totally embracing it! Well, the days there is enough chocolate in the house to console myself with after I've faced her wrath and determination to conquer me.

Flaws and all, tantrums and tiaras (there have been lots, mostly all broken or trodden on) I let her get it out, cause if I don't allow her to express herself and give her a positive outlet and me ranting and raving it will get neither of us anywhere and I've learnt to understand as hard as it was, it is part of her development. This is your threenager expressing themselves, now let me me say, first and foremost I am by no means a push over, but this is the time, where they come out of their shell there character is being built and they serve you a whole load of reality of what is to come, in them taking and owning the world.

Now I am not saying the threenager stage is easy or hard, there are many more stages to come in our children's life, God knows it has been hard when Miss sassy pants, want's to walk as slow as hell, because she is walking with her soft toy 'Minnie Mouse', or hear this, she wants to enjoy the summer sun! Girl, do you not know Mumma has gotta go to work, or the shops closing in ten minutes on a Sunday and I gotta get the milk! But it is what is and I am loving this beauty and seeing her grow through it.

Confidence
This is the time they grow and shine and your child comes out of their shell. Confidence allows them to take more risks and control there own emotions, they don't care what others think, if it is good enough for them it's going to work. Even it means looking mismatched in their outfit, it's cool to them to wear two different pairs of shoes and they are rocking the hell out it.

Fun
They are fun and funny as hell, you find they are up for doing more activities and they encourage you to do more fun things, which is great for bonding time for you and them which they love. Leanora has already made me say things that I never thought I would say since becoming a parent and she is now saying things I never thought she would say, no look, for instance, I said to her on our, ok my lazy day, where I could not be bothered to cook, after all, it's Saturday. 'Do you want a hot dog or MacDonalds Leanora?' You know what the little minx said to me 'HotDonalds mummy' - Bloody hell, where did I get her from lol! Love it!

Intelligent
Nothing gets past them now, they are much quicker than you give them credit for and hell, a lot wittier too! They are like little sponges and soak up everything and more open minded to, to take in more information, just to catch you out and then call you out on it, for trying to out smart them.

How have you got on with the threenager stage, have you embraced or tried to hide under the bed, from those sassy little people? I would love to hear your comments and stories below.

A big thank you to Next for sending Leanora this fab Star dress. Her boots are from Zara.

Currently in the throws of redecoration? I am!

I have been living in my home for 2 years now and I have not really done that much to it other than furnishing the whole house and just laying down flooring, partially throughout the house. But now I think it needs a whole uplift a lick of paint, a few new items to make my home look fresher and more cozy.

Here are some tips that to make your little home an instant uplift.

Colour
You may not realise it, but colour influences everything we do, including the way we act and the mood we're in. This makes choosing colour for your home an important task – not only do you want to make sure you create the right look; you'll also want to create the right feel.

Texture
A simple rug can automatically bring a room together and perfect for keeping your tootsies warm, plus adding a throw to snuggle up into after a long day creates a new element and looks aesthetically pleasing . A subtle mix of textures will bring the room together, making you feel extra cozy and relaxed, all whilst giving your home an instant uplift.

Scent Up
Nothing more cosier than a delicious warming smell of candles. They are a firm favourite in my home, big fat ones, tall skinny ones, to tiny littles ones you name it we've got it. Plus at night it is a perfect alternative of lightning than a ceiling night, perfect especially for those date nights.

All items are super affordable to add a touch of cosiness to your home. Do you have any tips on giving your home an instant affordable uplift?

The early bird catches the worm and all and what better way to start your day than with sunlight streaming in and bright blue skies. The key to boosting productivity and getting the most out of your days is being proactive from the moment you wake up in the morning, you won't get things done lazing around.

Pull back the curtains and open the windows
Nothing like bright blue skies and fresh air to kick start your day, so vanish the darkness from your slumber and let the morning glow flood in.

Make the bed
I know it can be a daunting task, but this simple routine will make you and your room look so much better when you arrive home later in the day. Always get this done, before leaving the room to get ready, well unless you have a sleeping toddler and cat inside it, but should be done before leaving the home. Nothing quite like jumping into fresh spread bed after a long day.

Brew time
I am a big time coffee lover and what better way, to get the day going than with a hot cup of Joe to start your morning, so before jumping in the shower fire up that bad boy coffee machine, so by the time you are out you are good to go. But whilst that's heating up it is important to keep hydrated so down a glass of water, water fires up your metabolism and helps flush out toxins.

Eat brekkie
We all know the importance of breakfast, so why should we skip it just because we are in a hurry, which can leave to bad choices which can lead you to eating junk. A great way to make sure you get breakfast is to prep it the night before, one of these tasty breakfast pops can be made in advance, just pop one out of the freezer and off you go. A bit more time in the house, from waking up earlier, then why not have avocado on toast, sprinkled with some chia seeds, all great sources of energy and will keep you filled, well until elevenses at least.

Tidy up
Nothing like coming home to a clean home, a clean tidy home is a happy home. So washing up and putting it away, to setting the laundry in the washing machine, so it is all ready to whizz up when you get in later, saves you time from doing it when you get home later, making you and your home more stress-free.

Doing these 5 things each morning, will leave leave you in a state of Joie de verve.

Do you have a morning routine?

Happiness is not hard to find, it is within us all! Some days granted we can wake up on the wrong side of the bed, trust me I know, my daughter sleeps next to me and sometimes I feel like I've just slept next to a character out of mortal combat whilst I have had Milo (the cat) sleeping on top of my head! But clear your mind and let go of any negativity and open your mind to happiness, after all, it is a stat of mind and a choice.

So feeling down, angry or sad! Here are four tips to achieve happiness every single day.

Write a gratitude list
No matter the time of day, list 3 things that you are grateful for, be it the shoes you spied in the shop window to the Nando's meal you are about to have later in the day, to watch your child running around playing and laughing. A gratitude list is a great step to achieving happiness and be grateful for what you have.

Surround yourself with those that make you happy
Need I say more! Negativity comes in many different forms and sometimes you can get so deep into it that you do not even realise that you are surrounded by it. So change it up and have those around you, who make you happy and have a positive impact on your life.

Do one act of kindness every day
Do not over think it. The gesture does not have to be grand just spontaneous, be it the moment you step out of the door and the first person you see, smile and say good morning to buying a coffee for the person behind you, to helping someone cross the road who is less able on their own, to calling your grandparents and wishing them a wonderful day, these small gestures of happiness does not just elevate your day but others too.

Do what you love and love what you do
Be it at work, to cooking and parenting too. Make sure it is right and works for you because doing something that you do not love will not lead you to your happiness.

I hope these tips will lead you to your happiness.

I have talked about being productive, but I've yet to share with you how not to be late! Let me say, being late sucks and it totally upsets my chi! So to give me inner peace I put into practice a few things to be me be on time, instead of jumping or falling out of bad and running like a mad woman around the house, this is not a great way to start your day,

Alarm - set me, baby, one more time Nah!
Goes without saying, you need an alarm to get you up in the morning. If you are not a morning person who jumps out of the bed, whizzes up the coffee machine, shower, dressed and out, I suggest setting your phone too along with the alarm by your bedside. Don't get me wrong no two clocks are the same, for instance, my computer in the office is completely different to that on my phone and on the wall, but with some forward planning, I'm kicking times butt, instead of it kicking mine. I certainly suggest, for those who need a little time to get up, set your alarm 30 mins earlier, to help prepare you mentally for the day.

Forward travel planning
Going somewhere new and unsure of the route, get online and track that route master, have it on lock so you know how long and what time you will reach your destination! Granted this can change you can never foresee a delay, so don't let it delay you and plan your route.

Switch of from the distractions
We all get caught up, being it a quick flick through Instagram to see what is new in the social media world, thinking oh I will send that quick email, before leaving the house, or let me just check X, Y and Z, it can wait, do it on your route your destination even. These little things are what slows you down and can cause you to be late.

Don't look back
7 out of 10 reasons why we can be late, is we are totally forgetting something, get organised the day or night before, or as I said get up an extra 30 mins to make sure you get yourself together so when you hit the road you are good to go.

Clothes Prep
Be it for the next day or an event, set out options, think of those options that you have and what you want to wear, think of the weather and what is needed and have it laid out or hung up so you are not frantically looking for something.

Time management has helped me achieve the art of patience, no more stressed out mornings, thus leading me to have a better day.

I hope these tips help you on not being late, do you have any tips? Please let me know in the comments below.

There is no such thing, as an easy route to life, even the richest, powerful and strongest people, will still face issues and tough decisions when it comes to life and I should know, I recently had my own tough time, but with support from friends, the love of my daughter, I was able to get through it and let me tell you I wanted to just give up, but that's not me, as scared as I was, I am and always will be a fighter and you can too.

Here is how to bid farewell, to tough times and when life gives you lemons' I'll show you how to make lemonade, with this helpful list of 5 Things To Do When Life Gets Tough.

Let It Out
First things first, in order to get through the situation when life gets tough, you need to let out that emotion to be able to move forward, you need to be able to be calm and be rational, in order to think clearly. So be it a much-needed cry or a run around the park to even hitting the gym, to baking, whatever calms you and allows you to let it out do it!

Don't Play The Blame Game
You are in this situation 9/10 because you put yourself there, willingly or not! So own the situation, do not let it own YOU, so just stop and put it to bed! You've got bigger fish to fry and that's the next stage!

Make A Plan
Now you are able to think more clearly a little more relaxed, grab a pen and paper and list what you need to do, doesn't matter the importance, the first important bit is that you are making that list, after that you will know what needs to come first, to get you to the end result that you are after.

Put Your Plan Into Action
Man up, face that list, no time like the present and put your plan into action, only YOU can do it know one else, so instead of twiddling those thumbs and waiting for the dust to settle, it is time to take the bull by the horns and get shit done!

Never Give Up
We can all be afraid to face our fears, but you can do it as tough as it is, you will persevere you will go on for another day, not matter how tough it is, but the key is to try, just try one more thing and never give up.

These little tips are a surefire way to help boost your productivity. We set out with the best intentions, but things always seem to get in the way, we put it off and tell ourselves we will get to it later, later turns into tomorrow, tomorrow turns into next week, until we realise it's too late and something else requires our attention and I for one am certainly guilty of all of the above, so lets get over all that procrastinating and let's get productive!

What you and I need to realise, if you want to get shit done no one else is going to do it for you, so get your butt into gear and get prioritising, it's not hard, but practice makes perfect right!?

Well the answer to that is simply yes, but just writing this alone, I've been distracted, new emails have come in, my daughter, the cat and to top it off, I've got the TV on! (Damn you TOWIE) Coffee is required, then I'm thinking about where to grab coffee later and then a little Pinterest and Instagram roaming, then I find myself circling back to where I actually need to be.

Sound familiar?

My head is clearly clouded and then one way to clear it, is to make a plan and actually be productive and organise my surroundings for the task at hand and I have a great post that this is also great if you are in a blogging slump.

So grab a notebook, post-it note (I love these) iPad, whatever I've got a wee little list, 6 in fact, ways to actually help you be productive.

PRIORITISE
When making your list, think about what is important what requires your attention first and foremost, on then can you truly get organised. Once you have made that list, that's your first step to being productive and readies you to tackle what is required doing.

SWITCH OFF AND TAKE A BREAK
No matter what you are doing, it is vital to relax your brain and body and take that much-needed break, the worst thing you can do is try to tackle something in frustration. Be it going for a walk, listening to some music or cooking, once you have had that down time you will be ready to conquer and be productive.

LET GO OF BAD ENERGY
Nothing is more infectious and can get you down than being in a negative space and this can really set you/us back in life and stop us in being productive. What you have to remember is tomorrow will be better, life will go on and in helping you be productive I have 5 ways to have a better day, or get out and go do something that YOU love to do.

PREP YOUR DAY FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE
The best way to get productive is preparation, preparation is key. So prep for tomorrow the night before, think about what you are going to do, wear and go and have everything all organised, you can even make breakfast ahead so you are all sorted for the morning.

GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP
In order to be productive, you need to have energy and being well rested is the way to go and get ready to smash it and get you out of that slump. A good night sleep is so beneficial to our health and helps reduce our stress levels.

What are your tips on being productive?

As adults we have enough pressure on us, be it the boss at work, friends, relationships you name it! but becoming a parent, especially one for the first time is is the most stressful, more stressful than choosing your Friday night takeaway.

So I thought I put some top tips for any soon to be or thinking first time parents mind at ease, it's not all plain sailing and airy fairy, things are going to get real and real quick too, so let's throw that anxiety away and let's get stuck in shall we, you've enough time to worry, 18 years to be precise!

The beginning
Well initially I wanted to start at the end, but I thought better of it. The moment you decide you are bringing a new addition to your family, a no brainer speak with your doctor about the first steps and get your appointments booked in. Secondly keep healthy and active, trust me you'll thank me for it when going in to labour! Look for yoga and Pilates classes, yoga to help stretch your body for your ever growing bump and body. Pilates to help strengthen you and build that muscle ( not in a body builder way) to help with all the extra weight, plus my favourite bit at the end of class was sitting in a row with the other pregnant ladies and having a spike all rubbed over your back, the first time this happened I groaned so loudly and rolled my eyes, all the other women laughed at me and said 'yep we remember our first time too' classes can not be started until around the 14 week mark, but they get booked up so quickly it's worth getting a head start on it.

The middle
Baby is nearly here, you've probably downed your weight in Gaviscon for your acid reflux. You have the all clear, time to look at planning on maternity leave, if you can save up all your holiday from work, use that time up a month before you plan on going on leave, that way you can have a month off work, leaving you with 10 months pay as opposed to the 9 months (comes in handy) this time nesting would of kicked in to overdrive. So prep your hospital bag, get all the new baby clothes washed and folded, maybe plan or have our friends plan you a baby shower.

The end
Well you've made it ladies and gents, your precious little one is here safely in your arms, congratulations you can breathe a sigh of relief and relax, you've got a least 24-72 hours max before your little one realises they are out of the womb into the real world, so take this time for the three or two of you to get to know one another, because once they've realised, what's going on that's when the real adventure begins. But for now the guests can wait you've got some bonding time to do and enjoy it, you've got the rest of your lives learning about one another.

I hope you like my Top Tips For First Time Parents! Do you have any Top Tips?
